[Tutorial] Making Howlings Repack 2.4.3 stable WITH PICS

Howlings Funserver Repack: FunServer_Update.rar - FileFront.com

ArcEmu r439: Download ArcEmu_r439.rar

GlobalNpc Teleporter: Download iPuppy_r439_GlobalNPC.rar

Tutorial.

1st. Install the funserver repack into C:/


2nd. Go to the folder from where you just installed and then go into the folder ascent


3rd. Highlight and delete all of ascent like ascent logon and world


4th. Go to the folder script_bin then highlight and delete everything inside


5th. When you're done deleting everything. Extract all of arcemu r439 into C:/funserver/ascent


6th. When you're done extracting go to the folder in ascent called configs and open up arcemu-world and edit

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "ascent" Name = "ascent" Port = "3306" Type = "1"> into

<WorldDatabase Hostname = "localhost" Username = "root" Password = "ascent" Name = "fun" Port = "3306" Type = "1">


7th.there is a global npc script and u can extract into script_bin for the gobal npc teleporter.

8th.if you have problems with making characters save the bottom query as a sql. and then execute it into the database

alter table characters add column finisheddailies longtext not null after finished_quests;

for character creation fix, try execute this in character database:

alter table characters add column finisheddailies longtext not null after finished_quests;

i am not sure but try it

lmao well that worked, now i just cant select characters... at creation ill put more in the guide if i find anymore. and give cred's to whom helped me

can someone close and lock or delete this guide? lmao. i just found that everysingle npc is gone inside the server after i made a char -.- + it has way too much errors -.- i never tested this. i only went up into the character selection screen ugh now i know better sorry!

Instead of deleting the things in the Ascent folder, can't i just extract it to there and overwrite everything?

So what files do i delete? Only the logonserver.conf and ascent.conf and realms.conf ? ^_^
