[Help/Tutorial] Some fixes for 2.4

Hey guys. I saw a lot ppl were asking for new 3 parts of t6, quests, portal and queal'danas, spawned quel'danas, working sunwell, made boos and mob drops, added new dungeon 4 set etc... So i picked some files and made my compiles for 2.4 fixes...

Now i've got 2 of them...

The 1st consists of:
- Quests fix
- New parts of T6
- Queal'danas (ID for World port)
- Working sunwell and spawned mobs but there is no drop and no new items and vendors...

And now for all of you comes:
- MY NEW RELISE OF 2.4 FIXES WICH INCLUDES:

- New parts of T6
- Working Quests
- Added Sunwell with working bosses, and mobs and their drops!
- Added new Dungeon 4 Set
- Added Items from Sunwell
- Fixed portal and Wind Raid Master to Sunwell
- Fixed Sunwell vendors!
- Spawned Vendor for Dungeon 4
- Fix for item costs (tokens, honor, marks etc.)

Download new relise and enjoy 2.4 fixes!

Here is little Tutorial how to make that all

1st: When you download files extrach them on Desktop. And open it.
2nd: There will be a few files, only you have to do is open The Sunwell file and copy files from Core to your Ascent and then edit your realmlist.conf and ascent-world.conf.
3rd: Go to C:AC Web Repack/Server/mysql/data/ascent and DELETE all files from ascent...
4th: Go to MySQL or Navicat (dont know what are you using) and import server.sql file to "ascent" table (thats database) from The Sunwell/Database and wait till it finish with importing.
5th: Then import Quest fixes and Costs fixes and thats it!

Thats it, you should have all files and adds wich have came with 2.4.x.

Alright, thanks mate. All I accually need are the Creature_Spawns for Quel'Danas & the Shattered Sun mobs in Shattrah, but this helps +Rep!

GMI NPC'S, can you explane plase?

On GM Island. I have one npc vendor that flys away(id Unknown),
and one continuously cast a spell(npc id 50012)

Oh, thats not such problem, this fixes only database problems as adding new items, fixing quests/bugs, adding npcs/instances etc...

think you must do it in game, or go to your database (mysql), creature edit and there i think you can edit their emote/and all what are they doing... Hope i helped

well go through and find out which npc it is. I think it will be 500012 and 500011 and there's another i think...anyways...

respawning him won't work. look in your database and see if there's a difference between the others and the ones you are missing. Try changing the ones that are wrong to reflect the others. Then maybe create your own if that doesn't work. I'm sorry I just really don't know much about the GMI vendors. Or how to create new ones

Ok, Extart this in your desktop. and then put all .sql files from all files in that data in MySQL, some help?

All you need to do, download the file extract the .sql files into a folder (aslong as u no where they are it doesnt matter), Open up Navicat ( or watever else you use), Open your connection, Then open the Ascent Database, Then right click on the ascent Database, In the menu click on execute Batch file, Then go to the folder you extracted the files into, click one of them, then click open then check the box that says "Continue on errors", Then click start, It will execute the file into your databse, when it is finished it will say 1 files Executed successfully, Then click on the tab at the top next to "message" Tab, and repeat these steps untill all the files are executed, restart your server and it should all be in there and fixed , Hope i halped some of you

Hiya

I did what you said, but my problem is that I deleted my quest table in Navicat and now when I try to execute the batch file, every single quest produces an error (error "Table 'ascent.quests' doesn't exist"). I tried recreating the quest table by copying another table (quests_localized) and rename it "quests". Naturally, the extraction didn't work (error " Column count doesn't match value count at row 1"). Is it possible to recreate the quest table?
I think I only need to know the column designationts etc. to make a new one and then execute the batch file to this one. Or..?

EDIT: Woho I managed to fix it!! This is what I did: First I deleted my "renamed" quest table. Then I extracted the entire AC Web Ultimate Repack 7.7 elsewhere and located the folder AC Web/Server/mysql/data/ascent and copied the files quests.frm, quests.MYD and quests.MYI to the same location on my first installation of AC Web. I then started Navicat and executed the batch files, voilá! Hopes this helps other noobs out there who delete the quest table like I did

Well, To be honest i would say u will need to redownload the Database, from the downloads section save all your important info (accounts, chars and so on), Because it is messed up, Try not to delete anything and it should work , this is theonly way i can think of Making it work if anyone else knows of a way to get it to work please tell us.

I dont have the tab quests I never deleted one so I dont know how to insert this files when I try too ececute them I get the error:Table 'logon.quest' doesn't exist I'm uding Heidi btw Also with all the other fixes I dont have the right table

Ye it spawn the mobs and the npc's and the tier, but:

-i can't take the old quests (before 2.4)
-the mobs in the instances got like 1k hp and dosen't drop what they are supposed to do
-i can't sell/buy at vendor's. they just talk.
