[Tutorial] Creating Custom Portals!

OK i have seen allot of people requesting this tutorial so i took the time to make it.

First off, go into WoW and go to the place you want your portal to take you to. In this case i will make it GM Island. Type .gps like so:

Now open up Navicat, and go into the teleport_coords table.

Edit one of the spells (make sure it's not one that will be used alot, i edited "Teleport: Goldshire"

in the map, x, y and z columns, put in the information you got from .gps, heres mine:

Now go in the the gameobject_names table, and create a new row. Put a high number for entry to make sure it's not taken. In the sound0 column, put the id of your spell in the teleport_coords table. Heres mine:

now restart your server, go into wow and type .gobject spawn "your game object id here" like this:

yea i made it just like this before and when i clicked on portal i had bar like using spell saying world recall (old) or sth like that and nothing happened so.....?

when pressing the portal.. it says Teleport Goldshire

How to change this?

you can't change it...it doesn't really matter. And szela_93 you must have done it a differant way to this because this works.

Uhm.. When I click the portal it comes : Item is gone, what should I Do ?

Does it matter if i changed Portal : Thunderbluff instead of Portal : Goldshire ?

Rofl , everything is working, but when i press the portal, I appear to the right location, but i'm falling throught it ( Gurubashi Arena )

try set the x cord a bit higher,

oke nice tut, but does the portall dissapear after a wile? if not, how can i delete it?

.go select. go delete

.go spawn <id> 1 makes it stay after restart
.go spawn <id> it is gone after restart

uhh i can spawn the portal but when i go in it i go to an open place could u tell me what part i messed up on?

I've tried doing this in SQLYog, Navicat, and HeidiSQL. And none of them have 'spellfocus' in them in the gameobject_names. Whats going on? o_O

umm with this.. when you make gameobjects.. .gobject spawn <id>

how do u make it stay after you restart the server?
