Reply to How to Update your "Outdated" database.

I am a newbie on this website, but I have done this before with projectxi, the ffxi emulator that got shutdown. I've spent the entire day trying to figure this thing out, and my problem was I started editing the config files right off the bat and changed some things I shouldn't have. I went through and read posts with other people having similar problems. I finally broke down and unpacked the repack and started from fresh. After I did that, I changed what I knew had to be changed. The world file had been logging on like 1 out of every 20 tries but I kept getting locked up at the Connected screen. After I overwrote all of the files, it now connects 100% of the time, so that's fixed. I downloaded the database editor Navicat, and it is very similar to SQLyog which I used in the past, except I think Navicat is a little easier to use. I also downloaded TortoiseSVN. I hate this program for reasons I won't state, but I believe that the problem I'm having now is that I'm running 3.3.5 client and the Repack v9.0 won't support this. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. I'm now updating the database in hopes that this will help, but I'm so close. Like I said, I'm getting stuck on the Connected screen.

    Willing to try this once.

    svn://arcemu.info/svn isn't working for me.
The connection fails because they won't respond.
    Any suggestions?
