    Nice,

Now how about networking? When you click on player does it send all packets of items that are set to dynamic? What if they have a ton of them, and more than 100 packets are needing to be created/sent to the clickee.

No to limit packet-spamming ive added several restrictions to the system.

Only when you inspect a player, his equipped items which have been upgraded are sent to you. No reason to send items in his bag/bank to you, as you cant see them anyway. Also, just clicking a player wont send anything.
Also if you update your own packets, the core sets a timer for the next time it synchronizes with you.

So the networking part is taken well care of

Alright nice then, do you use the SMSG_ITEM_QUERY_SINGLE_RESPONSE or SMSG_ITEM_QUERY_MULTIPLE_RESPONSE packet? cause with SMSG_ITEM_QUERY_MULTIPLE_RESPONSE you can send multiple items (255 per packet with that one (if i remember right))

Is the SMSG_ITEM_QUERY_MULTIPLE_RESPONSE anyway changed if you were to compare it to a SMSG_ITEM_QUERY_MULTIPLE_RESPONSE

Or is it just continued one after the other?

This is actually very interesting and quite frankly was fun to implement.

I managed to create a replica of this as proof of concept.

I still remember on dominion wow back in late TBC and early wotlk the developer Deej had already programmed something like this and then had it controlled via website

you'd pay 5 dollars to change a donor items display and name and rarity, it was a novelty for sure, and then the lead dev of Uber wow came up with something similar back in 2010.

good to see people rediscovering this stuff.

Do you still plan on not releasing this? its been nearly a year now.
