    Hey guys

I got many questions about how to do this with the BFA Files to WOTLK today I wanna show you a simple Guide how to do it by your self and what I tricks I used for this work.

    Requirements:

Casc Explorer: https://github.com/WoW-Tools/CASCExplorer/releases (Download the latest Version)
    Listfile BFA : https://github.com/wowdev/wow-listfile
    Legion -> WOTLK Converter: http://www.model-changing.net/files/...lti-converter/
    MPQ Editor: http://www.zezula.net/en/mpq/download.html

    Step 1:

Open Casc Explorer and go to File -> Open online archive (Beta) -> 8.0.1 (xxx)

Now you see all the BFA Files from the Beta Server.

Now u can make right click on this file that u need to extract the files.

    Step 2:

Use the Legion -> WOTLK Converter on the files that u extract.

Now u can use the files with the WOTLK Client.

    Step 3:

Use the MPQ Editor to create a Patch to use the files.

Congratulations u have convert BFA Files to WOTLK!

    Informations:

U have to edit the creaturemodeldata.dbc & creaturedisplayinfo.dbc to use the creature files

    Tricks:

To find the new BFA files go on wowhead to the BFA Sections example to the new creature styles:

    WoWHead: http://www.wowhead.com/battle-for-az...eta-datamining

Every new creature is named from wowhead, search with this name in the bfa files with the casc explorer

I hope this will help someone.

    Greetings

You can find things on many ways example I search items with there icon name on wowhead 90% have the iconname the same name as the model name or a other way that i use is I load all models in a 3.3.5 model viewer to search the models on this way

A weapon glow is maybe a spell m2 because its a animation

You also forgot to mention to install 010editor to check the BLPs of the model. Like weapons, creatures, buildings, doodads etc.

That basically has to do with something called TXID that has been introduced in patch 8.0.1.
This will cause the white textures. There are multiple ways of fixing it this. Read https://wowdev.wiki/M2#TXID how it works. Should be all you need.

Hi there. I hope someone here will be able to explain things to me; I'm really noob with these apps and converters and I have to apologize for a possibly idiotic question.

How do you put your BfA files in MultiConverter? The app is a blank window with no option to add files (dragging them into the window doesn't work either). The console... idk what it does, but apparently nothing at all. Doesn't matter where I launch the converter from - I can't seem to add my BfA files.
Note: my BfA files were downloaded from modding forums; it's a complete set of tiles, meshes and creature models. I don't have BfA installed on my PC.

    Thanks in advance :<
