    Currently working on the gearing system. I've had a lot of ideas going through my head the past week and I've settled on one alternative option for gearing.

    More input on how gear should be obtained is welcome.

    Sneak peak:


    There are thousands of possibilities for gear (this being an unfortunate roll for a cloth piece):


    Item quality is denoted by the sum of its stats.
    Common piece of armor - sum of stats = 1
    Uncommon piece of armor - sum of stats = 2
    Rare piece of armor - sum of stats = 3
    Epic piece of armor - sum of stats = 4
    Legendary piece of armor - sum of stats = 5

    This is to keep a relative amount of balance even for geared players as the only difference between a legendary piece and a rare piece is 2 stats. The legendary might even be 3 intellect and 2 strength while the rare piece is a pure 3 intellect roll. For a cloth class the legendary is similar to the rare in that the intellect rolls are the same and the strength is useless for them. The only difference in that scenario is that armor and durability is slightly higher on legendaries, giving them a slight advantage regardless of stat rolls.

    There will be more conventional ways to gear. I like this gearing system because you will constantly be searching for better gear. You won't get BiS in a week. It'll take you a while to find a pure stat roll legendary. Plus, the conventional gearing systems aren't as interesting.

    Currently working on spell reskins that will be available on Planet Io. These spell reskins have the same effect, values, and (mostly the same) audio as their original except for having their visual effects changed.
