Folder Patches? how do you mean? what happens when you try to launch wow?
Can somebody link me a wow 3.3.5 a launcher that supports folder patches.
Most clients seem to use MPQ patches.
I downloaded 3 clients, two of which were recomended for repacks and none seemed to work.

To use patches that are in folders instead of MPQ files, just create the folder with the same name as the patch and put the files in the right structure for a patch inside it. You don't need anything special.
However, if you plan on doing modifications to files that are locked (that is, they are verified against modifications by the game client such as GlueStrings.lua) then you will need to patch the game client executable. You can use a patcher program from here to do this: http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/worl...n-remover.html.
in C:\Users\HP\Documents\Wow\Client\Data
I have a folder called patch-4,
inside there are two other folders
sound and interface
sound>music>GlueScreenMusic>Wotlk_Main_title
Interface>GLUES>MODELS>UI_MainMenu_Northrend>BLP and SKIN files
Interface>GLUES>COMMON>BLPs
in theory this should change the title screen to that of vanilla wow,
but this only works when it is in mpq form, and fails when it is a folder.
Change the folder name to patch-4.mpq and try again.
Though the glues folder may require you to patch the executable anyway.
