/username/run/bin/bin is the correct one. No sir they are not getting created later on. you need to move them manually per WinSCP or PuTTy using the mv commend

Looks like you may be running out of RAM. I suggest turning off the pre-compiled headers. You can do this by re-running the cmake line but use
    Code:
    -DUSE_COREPCH=0 -DUSE_SCRIPTPCH=0
    instead.

Looks like Memory problem as he said, try either re-run cmake with the parameter he gave to you, or change make -j 6 && make install to simply make && make install (which will take longer)

You are still running out of memory, right at the linking phase (see this line):
/usr/bin/ld: failed to set dynamic section sizes: Memory exhausted
Sooooo, here's a way to temporarily add "memory". Basically we'll add a new swap file to the system. This will slow things down when it gets to the linking stage, but it should be able to complete it.

    1. Switch to the root user with
      Code:
      sudo -s
    2. Create a temporary swap file of appropriate size. Here I'll show a 1Gb swap.
      Code:
      dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=1024 count=1M
    3. Set permissions so that only root can access this file
      Code:
      chmod 600 /swapfile
    4. Set up the file so that it can be used as a swap
      Code:
      mkswap /swapfile
    5. Activate this swap to add it to the system
      Code:
      swapon /swapfile
    6. Check that it activated with
      Code:
      swapon -s
      and/or
      Code:
       free -h
    7. Exit root with
      Code:
      exit

    Now try compiling again.

The swap file is not permanent so it will not be active on the next reboot (though the file itself will still be in the root). To disable the swap without rebooting, once compilation is complete, you can do
    1. Again switch to the root user with
      Code:
      sudo -s
    2. Disable the temporary swap with
      Code:
      swapoff -v /swapfile
    3. Remove the temp swap file with
      Code:
      rm /swapfile
    4. Exit root with
      Code:
      exit
