So I installed 2010 ultimate but cmake will not let me use win64 ?
Keeps defaulting to ms visual studio 2010 express ?

    PLEASE help

    CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:12 (project):
Cannot enable 64-bit tools with Visual Studio 2010 Express.

Install the Microsoft Windows SDK v7.1 to get 64-bit tools:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/bb980924.aspx

    Configuring incomplete, errors occurred!
AND YES I INSTALLED THE Microsoft Windows SDK v7.1 and still get the same error.

Personally think this is a waste of time, I tried this a time ago as well. I succeeded, but then the program wouldn't start.

Well there are people compiling in 64bit so it must be doable...

Just uninstall express and Ultimate then install again Ultimate.

I already did that with the same issue.... I know how to read FFS.

Why do people have to be so damn rude?

You can still just compile in 32 bit on a 64 bit machine

visual studio runtime and redistributable drivers x86 x64
