    In WoW.cs find line:

    Code:
    return Path.Combine(Directory, @"Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf");
    Edit to enES.

    Also how can I update the title where it says "cata launcher" on top?

    I really cant get the auto update to work...

    I have patch-11.mpq in my webserver...
    In the folder patch I have patches.txt and patch-11.txt ..

    Patch-11.txt looks like:
    http://wow.iplayonline.eu/patch/patch-11.MPQ patch-11.MPQ 0B2AB2EED64EE59FAB549EFF63513FCC

    patches.txt
    patch-11.MPQ 0B2AB2EED64EE59FAB549EFF63513FCC

    What am I doing wrong here?

    When I open the launcher its not updating, just says client is up to date.

    /////////

    Also how can I update the title where it says "cata launcher" on top?
    Patch-11.txt is not needed.

    patches.txt should look like:

    http://wow.iplayonline.eu/patch/patch-11.MPQ patch-11.MPQ 0B2AB2EED64EE59FAB549EFF63513FCC
    Also, make sure that the URL of patches.txt is correct in the project settings (e.g: http://wow.iplayonline.eu/patch/patches.txt)

    In order to change the title, you need to go into the designer and click on the title bar (where "Cata Launcher" is). Then, scroll down on the "Properties" window until you find "Menu Bar Properties," and edit the "MenuBarText" property to what you want.

    Hi mitch thanks for the quick reply..

    I for some reason had it working for one minute but when I recompiled the launcher it stopped working... I have attached some screenshots... can u please help me out?

    Because for some reason neither one of these things seem to work anymore... As you can see, all settings are right and the right fields are modified, i think... but it's just not doing its job and i dont know where the source problem is located at.

    edit; screenshot top got a bit messed up showing the menu.cs twice.. sorry about that... photoshop failed. :S

    For the title, you need to edit the property on the MainForm designer:

    I for some reason had it working for one minute but when I recompiled the launcher it stopped working
    Are you referring to the patches part? If so, this could be because the patch has already been downloaded and is in the "Data" folder. The launcher does not re-download the patch unless the MD5 hash has changed. If, however, that's not the problem, please post your patches.txt file.

    It should look something like this:

    http://localhost/patch/mypatch.MPQ mypatch.MPQ MD5-HASH

    I tried as you said, added a different .MPQ file to test... patches.txt looks like;
    http://wow.iplayonline.eu/patch/patch-12.MPQ patch-12.MPQ 91D21968453DD457C717F7BBAC7FD66C

    And its not working. :/
    and as for opening the MainForm - I gotta figure out how do get that popup screen as on ur screenshot because I only get the source code (text) and when I go to properties its empty xD

    Optional:
    In order for the launcher to download the patches, you will need to create a text file with the name of the patches, the location (http://example.com/patch-D.MPQ), and the MD5 hashes of the patches. I have included another application which will create this text file for you. You will need to upload this text file, as well as the patches to your web server.

    • Load Patches File = The .txt file that the patch details will be saved to, e.g. patches.txt
    • Patch File = The file of the patch that will be downloaded
    • MD5 Hash = Automatically filled in based on "Patch File"
    • Patch Url = Url to the "Patch File"

    Note: In order to have patches update from the launcher, you must update the MD5 hashes of the patch files in patches.txt (or whatever you named it), as well as the patch files themselves.

    Download Launcher Source: https://github.com/Mitch528/CataLaun...ive/master.zip
    Download "Distribute Patches.exe": http://www.mediafire.com/download/8l...te_Patches.exe
    Hey first off want to say thank you so much for this awesome release! I got everything to work but the client won't stop updating. Every time I open the client it redownloads the file erasing the old one. Is there a way I can make it so that it only updates when the download link of the text file changes or something? Thanks so much for the help!

    Hey,
    I changed the MainForm
    I changed

    Code:
    private void client_DownloadFileCompleted(object sender, AsyncCompletedEventArgs e)
            {

                bool anyDownloads = false;

                string loc = WoW.DataDirectory;
    to

    Code:
    private void client_DownloadFileCompleted(object sender, AsyncCompletedEventArgs e)
            {

                bool anyDownloads = false;

                string loc = WoW.Directory;
    and added on the patches.txt http://test.de/patch-x.MPQ Data/patch-x.MPQ HASH

    and all work BUT!
