Custom Mount Tutorial?

Hi, I don't really want to get into making custom items, but there is one thing that I would really like to have: a free mount, that you can use at Level 1. Just a normal level 40 mount, nothing fancy. Can anyone tell me how, or point me in the right direction? (Please speak in noob language, as I have never made any modifications before.)

Oh, and I almost forgot. Is it possible to increase the maximum number of people that can fit in a normal group?

1) you can just edit the old mounts in your database under the level requirements and skill requirements columns

2) not unless you plan to script it
