So as the title ask "Are aliens real and is there life on other planets?"
What do you think,Please no flaming since this is a intellectual discussion.
This got my attention after watching Transformers i know that is not real but it got me to thinking if there may be life on other planets or even right on earth and the goverment wont tell or release anything to us.
I have googled a few things and found alot of stuff.
So please tell us what you think,And link any pixs,sites or any proof to support your case.

Thinking of how big this galaxy, all the other galaxies known to mankind, and others out there to discover we possibly can not believe that we are the only form of live overall.

Look up Gary McKinnon. He claims the government has aliens and UFOs. He hacked the military and looked into it.

+ i believe we are probably the least advanced in the universe considering our planet is only 4.5 Million years old. and the human race is only about 400 thousand years old. and life is only 2.5 Million years old. (I listened in bio on that day :p)

Well,As far as i see it,aliens are real and just like we call them aliens we are aliens to them.Only reason i belive that they do not both us is what could we offer them or have that they need.Like Spasm said are earth is still young.There has to be many other life forms very far far away.It would take billions of years to even get half of the galaxies found.Another thing we belive,even if aliens did invade or come to earth if most of the sitings are true they always die not from just crashes but because they can not live on earth,due to are H2o.They can not survive off of it for long.Another thing i do not belive aliens do not bother is because the fact they cant get to us,because like i said look how long its took us to get this far in tech,if they have been around alot longer then us they are far more in tech.They can prob travel at light speed or faster and be able to reach us in matter of months maybe,or years,but it would take use billions of years to reach them.So i do belive that there are aliens its just a matter of time before they do bother us or need something from us.I am not crazy but i do belive that even if 2012 is end of earth(i hope not will have just turn 18)That aliens will be the reason and they are planning to invade us or by 2012 there army would have reached the earth.

The galaxy is hugh, the change that we are the only intelligent life is hard to believe. I am certain their is life, but it could be millions of light years away from earth.
What I find funny is that when most people talk about alien life they think they are more advanced then we are.
I personally don't believe the fairy tales of the US having UFO's. It is very unlikely that it's real, common those flying dishes are made up. Any picture could easily be photoshoped.

I don't think there is any evidance of intelligent life forms, so how do you know?

Why does everyone think we'd be so far behind though? So the earth and human race isn't very old, if there is life on other plants, I bet some of them won't be as far forward as we are.

I am sure it exist aliens from other planets. It cant be only one liveable planet in all these galaxies. I am not sure if we want to find em, its upp to if they are friendly or not.

Mathematically? we are 1/8 (9) planets, and we can sustain life, the probability of life on other planets, even if its only 1/1000 planets, is still a great possibility, Stephen Hawking has a new show discussion this topic, it is epic
but logically it would be stupid to not accept the fact that there is life on other planets

We have seen only a minuscule glimpse of the universe. We have no idea what is out there. But I am sure science will tell everyone.

Science is just lies that try to disprove God and the Bible. There is no life on other planets, just Earth. God only made life on Earth and God only wants there to be life on Earth. And if God wants it then it'll happen cause he is the One Supreme Being, what He say goes. So, case closed, there is no life on other planets because God and the Bible say so.

I'll take a stab and assume that you're up on the high horse you rode in on, your likely older then me with a sense of superiority and a false idea of earthly wisdom under your belt. On the off-chance that you are my age or younger, you grew up too soon and we're given more responsibility then you should have had, your maturity at a young age has developed into a sense that you are, in fact, older then everyone else and it has become a delusion that no one is wiser then you. So you sit here arguing with me, trying to antagonize me into insulting you so you can prove to yourself that you are mature enough to handle it. The only reason why you continue arguing is so that you can either continue to try and get me to insult you to keep feeding your sense of superiority and maturity or because you are so threatened by someone standing up to you and opposing your view points that you now have an undying hatred for me that manifests itself into late night debates over AC Web. The reason for these late night debates is likely becuase, since you were so much more mature and superior to your peers, you had trouble developing friends and to this day find it hard to make long lasting connections with others because you find them so far below you. And even if this is true, you will just laugh and play it off and act like it doesn't phase you one bit. But it's just what I'm seeing.

It is highly possible that there is life on other planets. Some people say that if there was they would have contacted us by now, but think of this: if you were an alien watching people on Earth and saw how fucking stupid we all are and how fast we are to kill one another over little differences, wouldn't you stay the hell away from us? That's why I think we have never been significantly contacted before, cause to them we are complete idiots, the most moronic beings in the universe and they just don't want to deal with our shit.

Yeah, they would be able to look past skin color and see we are all the same. Kind of like how no matter what color fur the same breed of rabbit is, they are all the same breed, I guess.
