Many people seem to be having problems with running the repacks. Some have luck with hamachi where it didn't work before without. Until something proves different I am still convinced that many of these problems are related to ports not being forwarded or at least not properly.
If you are unsure if your ports are indeed forwarded correctly, run this quick test.
http://whatsmyip.org/ports/
In the 'Custom Port Test' section enter the port you wish to test. If it comes back with a 'Timeout' then it is your PC at fault it is still blocking the port, until you get those ports opened then no amount of help on our part will make your server work.
If your 100% certain your router has indeed been forwarded, and still your ports fail this test, then the next suspect is your firewall. Either turn it off temporarily or forward the ports on it too.
If the port test still fails, and your still 100% certain that your router and any firewall you may have running issetup correctly, then you have a problem. It could be your ISP is interfering but to be honest if you get this far and still have ports not working theres not a lot else I can suggest, other than use Hamachi.
[EDIT]
Forgot to mention, I like helping people get their server up and running, and will continue to do so as I know how frustrating it can be when you've done everything thats explained in the guide and still it does not work.
But here on in the first thing I will ask people who ask me for help is to use that test, if it fails then I won't help anymore until it passes, because its pointless. I have spent a lot of time helping people, and some of which I am sure this is their problem even though they insist it isn't.
As long as you pass the port test then getting your server running won't be hard.
