How To Do Illidan Event. TUT

This is pretty basic info. The main problem players are having is getting the event to start. You do not need to .go object, or delete the wall in anyway, this
will not start the event.

To have the event work, download this

Once thats all downloaded
Go to your ascent folder. Should be something like C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Ascent. Once in your ascent folder, look for the folder labeled "script_bin". Place it in there.

Once this is done, find your instancescripts.dll and rename it backup_instancescripts

Now get your mooninstancescripts.dll and rename it instancescripts

Now that this is done, you don't need to tuch mysql or anything, no querying needed. Now, restart your server. Relaunch apache and all that good stuff. Enter the game and Start by typing ".cheat god" Second, type ".recall port illidan you will now be ported to the Illidan Council, slaughter them. Now walk up the stairs and talk to Akuma. Akuma will spawn to friends that he will talk to, then open the door. He will then run up more stairs towards illidan. Once he has stopped running, talk to him again and he will start the main event.

dude i like it every boss is scripted even the giant mech outside the instance is scripted but when i get to illidan he dosnt do his spells and akama drops out like 1/10 the way through his health it kinda stinks but its still cool

Well it works partly for me. I get to the council room and akama is half flying around the room, I can kill the council and speak to him, and he floats back down to the floor and walks up to the door, and opens it.

We get to the top and it takes as econd for him to become a speaking target, but it works, him and Ill have theyre words, and ill says 'you are not prepared", and the server completely crashes. I've tried it 5 times.

I'm really surprised that there is'nt some community project to get a working instance dll pack.

when u rename your mooninstancescripts.dll to instancescripts do you put .dll after it?

Does this moonscript work with ascent 3.8? cause i have another working script for illidan only for 3.5, so can someone tell me if this works with 3.8 cause i want to update the server with working illidan:D

Yea I have the same problem here using the 7.5 repack. Would updating to 7.6 fix this?

o.O i do not think this works on the lastest repack, so many replys on the failure of it, i never got any of this to work on mine. i talk to akama and he says "Hey there, <name>. How can i help you?" any chance you could fix this o.O???

i did everything as you said but when i do the event it sometimes crashes my server and shuts down my ascent :S

I would d/l this and try but all the bad reviews and server crashing stuff is preventing me to try it, I also deleted that door, do I guess thats a problem, any way to get it back with out having to re-make my whole server?

Sigh. I'd almost sell my soul for a good set of mooninstancescripts.dll that work with the 7.6 repack

But in game it doesn't even work because akama = enemy to you so you cna't even talk to him to start the fight w/ illidan so FAIL!!!

Agree with the Fails here If any one nos of any precompiled scripts for instaces id be very greatfull but as i understand it there arnt any precompiled ones and i have had problems trying to combine the moonscripts following the tuts. Also tryed the gm scripts for a vendor i made but cant get going either so I fail all over on scripting.
