Ok i thought i should update this post as a few problems have ocurred because of miss understanding / wrong information, so to clarify it there is no advertising what so ever, no gfx website, no wow websites or anything. we only permit personal wow website like a server website (i.e wowscape)

Rules: before you post in the Graphics Section:
This is to everyone who rate, critiques, comments on other peoples pictures they post on here. I have noticed that people come onto the Graphic Discussion forum
blasting peoples works. 9/10 of the people who are on here are still in high school learning how to do graphics, and posting them here to get complements and
critiqued by their peers. and some of you(shall remain nameless) come on here like you are an art critic and knock them down and flame there works like it is the
1800's and you found a witch. most of the people on here are discouraged by theses post and some even quit graphics all together. if you really care about the
community as you say, then how about instead of saying "Oh my god this sucks" or "this is the worst thing iv ever seen." say something that encourages them to
work harder and keep learning. say something like "it looks good but it could be better with practice" or "try this(insert advice here)". its people like this who do
more harm to the community then good. so please people lets stick to one of the "golden rules" and if you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything
at all. and all the people who are working their butts off trying to become a graphic artist, keep trying and learning. I'm always here to help and so are many others
in the community. as I always say don't be afraid to ask for help, i have been working with graphics for over 6 years and I still ask for help all the time.
Rules on requesting Logos, banners, etc, in the graphics section:
Everyday, I see requests for graphics. Whether it is a logo, an avatar, a signature, or a banner. In a few of these request threads, I see things like "I need a banner. +Rep to the best." or whatever they are requesting. When you make a thread to request something, please include some of the important information.
What image do you want in it?
If no image, what color scheme?
What text do you want on it?
Do you want it animated?
What are the dimensions?
If it's a server banner, what information about your server do you want on it? Supply that information! (i.e 3.2.2a supported, etc.)
This will help people get your request done faster, and more efficiently.

Do not sell your retail account on Ac-Web. We will not tolerate it, go on another site to sell it. You're not suppose to be selling it on this website in the first place. Read.

I see several members posting daily. The problem is that they post in wrong forum, so I thought I'd make this clear.
Where to post:
General Chat - Pretty self-explanatory.
Graphic Discussion - Everything related to graphics; Show off your work, request a banner/signature or whatever you want.
WoW General - Everything related to World of Warcraft.
Private Server Chat - General p.server chat.
Releases - Got something you want to share? Post here!
Tutorials - Guides just about everything.
Support - The only forum where you are allowed to require assistance regarding private servers! This is the forum everyone must learn to use!
Server Listing - Advertise your server.
Recruitment & Gamemasters - GM/Dev applications and staff, player, host recruitments.
To require assistance, post in Support (http://www.ac-web.org/forum/support/) forum.
To recruit staff or look for a job as a GM or Dev, post in Recruitment & Gamemasters (http://www.ac-web.org/forum/recruitment-gamemasters/) forum.
To advertise your server, post in Server Listing (http://www.ac-web.org/forum/server-listing/) forum. NOTE: Only one advertisement per server is allowed.
Also, asking for reputation is prohibited!
Releasing Rules:
More and more over the last few months, I have seen people plagiarizing other's work. I'm getting sick of seeing a script that I saw 5 minutes ago and then having to heckle people to take it down. Therefore, even though I am not a moderator, I am going to lay down a few rules that should already be here in the Releases section. Hopefully this will be stickied so there will be no excuse for disobeying said rules.
Plagiarizing is taking someone else's working and claiming it as your own, it is NOT flaming.
Before I go on, let me point out that plagiarizing is a form of stealing. Furthermore, if a person has 'Copyright' on there script, and they note explicitly in their post that they are releasing it under the GNU or a similar license, then that file is indeed copyrighted to them. You can find a copy of the GNU here to add to your scripts.
Example:
A few days ago, 'coth' claimed to be selling ExileWoW's website. Unbeknownst to him, this template was made by Fusion Studios and they had placed a copyright. As such, regardless of if WoW Emulators are illegal or not, there is still a copyright on that file. If coth goes ahead with selling this template, Fusion Studios has the legal right to sue both coth and his client.
So, onto the rules.
* No plagiarizing. This means you cannot copy other people's work and claim it for your own.
* No flaming. This is a forum inside the Ac Web board. The AC-Web rules still apply here.
* No false reporting. This is the reason moderators take a while to delete posts.
* No spam posts. Anything that does not contribute to the topic is considered spam.
* Speak in English. Speaking in another language is also considered as spam.
* Do not make threads about other threads. If you wish to receive support on a topic, please post in the original author's thread.
The above list is not exhaustible, but it is a mainframe of what I see daily and that should be changed.
I appreciate I am not a moderator, but seeing as someone needs to lay down the law here, I felt I had to. I feel ashamed to do this next thing, but I feel it is necessary to do so.
Warning rule when you post in the wrong section:
OK, so im assuming you have seen the new sections that are in the release section. it is time to utilize these, you must post your release in the correct section or it may be closed.
Regarding "Coming Soon", and "Requesting" Threads:
Hello, I have been going around the Release section and seeing people putting up "Coming Soon", "Soon to be Released", "Request" threads. Can we please put thoughs here in the private server chat? Because if you put them in the "Release" Section, it is not defining a release or any other subject, but a "Request".. etc. It will be greatly appreciated. Let's just keep the release section for releases, please.
Support Section read before posting rules:
1) Try to spell out stuff, there are some threads on the support forum I can barely read.
2) Try to use atleast a small amount of grammar.
3) And once again, use the search button
4) Do NOT make multiple threads when you need help.
Advertising your server on Ac-Web rules:
Seeing that members post two or more advertisements of a same server, I thought I'd made this clear right here, right now.
Only one advertisement per server is allowed.
If/when I see more than one server advertisement, I will either delete the extra thread(s) or merge them.
I hope you read, understand and comply with this.
Posting Toplist website rules:
Do not post 'Toplist Sites', it is not a server, nor you cannot advertise on ac-web. Thanks. (Note: If you post anyway, your thread will be deleted.
Flaming rules:
Dear AC-Web,
I have had enough of the behaviour of some of the more immature members of this community. I have removed all of the word censors, and if I see anyone posting insulting messages about other members, or just having a negative attitude in general, they will be punished. If you do not have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. And to those respectable members of the community, this message was not aimed at you, and could you please help us out by reporting any posts of an insulting nature. There will be a zero tolerance from now on.

Quoting spammers rules:
As all of you know there are a lot of spammers, but some of you quote them. Basically if you see a huge line of text in someones post, please don't quote it because it could be a spammer. I have deleted people's posts because they quote the spammers. Let's not quote them, okay?
Users attaching "signatures" to their posts rules:
Any users posting "signatures", that is, the popular trend of putting an image usually around 400x150 pixels at the bottom of every post will not be tolerated. Let this be a warning to you, users who carry on with this behaviour will be infracted/banned. Please keep our forum tidy and free from waste-of-space images like these.

I have said this many a time before, AC-Web is not a warez forum.
That means:
No Cracks
No "Free" Programs
No Keygens
NO WAREZ
