I have searched for MaNGOS for WoW 2.3 never found anything :(
but now i found it just by being member of this site few days :P
hope its the same as the one for 2.1.3 because its was very easy to make it work :D
many error's happens when i use Ascent :mad: the nicest is that not many have downloaded it i dont think so :D

umm yeah...i know its a different emu and all but, the .conf's are much different and harder to understand...can some one tell which bits to change e.g. rates address of server server name etc...plz.

It's more than easy to see the lines where to change rates. Obviously you won't even try to find those lines.

note -.- this is not for n00bs =\ this is very hard to set up so if you don't know how to set up a mangos server then don't even download it... just go down load the ascent and use it -.-

very nice so far... i've got it fully working so YES it does work if you know how to set it up

A mangos repack i made long ago you just had to install and start the server and wam u can play.

I downloaded the mangos and i get the same problem with vmap AND I HAVE READ THE README!! but now my ascent server works!! :D and it is MUCH better :D the three things i want to work is my custom weapon (i use navicat), portals (i followed a portal tutorial but did not work :( ) and i want my website to work (in configuration file when i change the http://localhost to my website name nothing of that shit in website works :mad: )
But USE ASCENT!!

i'm gonna try to use the mangos repack when i get back to my house in Anaheim. I am actually excited lol. Never played on Mangos, the WoWGasm one wouldn't let me, but it can't be much different than Ascent just like command wise but thats it right?

idk if i forgot to do something but everytime i try to connect to mySQL with navicat by using the info given

it says access denied

it also says the same thing when i try to connect to realmd and mangosd

The read me section says those are the correct user and pass but for some reason i cant connect... Any idea why?

mangos was easy for me before i started with ascent lol i were a noob on ascent / antrix emulators but i was pro on mangos lol >.< now i know nothing, i start the server up and i don't know if anything is loading cause it is only coming up numbers lol

Nvm i got it to connect the database but that doesnt help me. Instead of using mangos as password i used ascent which i got it to connect but that just screws up everything else...im not sure if this is the correct mangos mySQL file or maybe i just screwed up something...i reinstalled and started over but nothing new happen. bah i havent done private servers for quite awhile ever since xbox got more addicting (halo 3 live) but if anyone can help that would be good.

OK Nowhere I have looked does it mention if ZA and S3 is available with this pack.. Does anyone know.. I really liked Mangos before but Hated going though and reconfiguring things. AC creates great repacks and I uv you guys for it. But I just need to know Does ZA work and is there S3???

Hey I am having a Problem. I am not looking to make my server public, just play by myself. I just installed it correctly with the defaults and havent touched a config. I just changed the realmlist by deleting everything in the realmlist.conf and adding a line

"set realmlist 127.0.0.1"

Now when I start wow 2.3.0. I login to everything, connect and select my the realm. It says "Logging in to Game Server" then loops back to the realm list. But if I hit cancel on "logging in to Game Server" I can get to a character list but I dont see a "create a character" option.

bloody nice package tbh!!! almost everything working just missing T6 options and some other fun, other than that i can say sd2 and decent db's make the package look like a wowserver on click ;P

just get us one just like it for 2.3.2 and more db's /sd2 scripts now! ;P

Can anyone help me with it?!?! I get errors all the time. I've done all the requirments: Extracted maps into wow folder and runned it. Extracted vmaps but it's one thing i don't get with the vmaps thing.... i get another folder from it called "buildings" and that don't show in the readme so where should i place that one?
