OK, the default db that comes with this repack does not have the table www_zones. So if you want your online list to work as it should, you need to import that table. ;)

I don't believe jargs ever claimed that he created the db or antrix. He is simply repacking all elements of the emu so it will be easier for others to install and experience a WoW server, so please don't flame the dude for providing something the "average" user can use. If you ever google official antrix db, you will find those links you have provided.

Ok Easy Guide

Step 1. Download (AC Web ultimate web repack 5.0) http://rapidshare.com/files/39743778/AC_We...Repack.exe.html

Step 2. Download (Navicat - for changing admin rights and adding items) http://www.navicat.com/download.html

Step 3. open the repack with winrar and Installer will run automatically.

(Side note) - Make sure to extract the maps, depending on your version of wow the repack comes with two .rar files wich are 1. Map Extractor enGB 2. Map Extractor enUS make sure to extract one of them into your WoW Directory and then click ad.exe and wait if nothing shows on the first run put the other file there.

(Side note) - Make sure if its your first time running Navicat you make the Username: root and the Password: antrix for it to work properly

Step 4. After installation go to all programs then ac web repack 5.0 then run the controll panel.

Step 5. Go to the first dropdown menu labeled "SQL Options" click "Start MySQL".

Step 6. Then after go to the next one labeled "Server Options" then click restarter.

Step 7. Click "Start" on both of em then rember to keep up all 3 consoles.(logonserver first)

Step 8. Open Navicat Double Click on Antrix_Server.

Step 9. Then click on antrix in the menu there it will open 8 new catagories go to Tables.

Step 10. Go to accounts and rename the two columns "Login" and "Password" to what you desire.

Step 11. Close and redo Steps 5 -7.

Step 12. Then Load WoW And have some fun!

Ok ok but now When i do that, Now its telling me that When I try to run a website it says something like the pprotocol/internet/ something on port 0.0.0:443 is taken and i dont know what to do please tell me how to sucessfuly get it online :)

hey.. tried to do everything that youve said here since im also kinda noob to this, well the thing is that i still cant get it working, ive also changed my realmlist.wtf and ive patched the game, ive even changed the "logonserver.conf" file to the version of WoW im running, but it still won't work, :/ please help

chrome when you open navicat you should see antrix in the left panel double click on it and it should drop down click on the first one in the right hand side you should accounts dbl click on it and click on the plus sign at the bottom hope this helps

I need help with downloading the repack ;P Cuz Both Rapidshare and Megaupload doesnt let me download things. It just loads quickly in the beginning then it stops on like 20 - 50% :/ And then i try again, - same thing happens. And finally i have to wait like 300 years to try downloading it again XD. This is kinda irritating so i wounder if it possibly could be that i need to open some port? :O I'd appreciate any help.

chrome! after you hit the plus sign at the bottom you can add more rows to the database it would be better for you to get the website working cuz the php does all the hard work for you atleast try getting it to work locally on your server so that you can add the info your self but chances are if the website doesnt work neither will antrix over the internets but you may just need the website folders in the right place

Ok so I'm having a bit of a problem with this. I extracted the maps and put them in the Antrix folder as supposed to. Everything was fine until I clicked to start MYSQL when I did that instead of opening the black dos box it opened as a notepad file. So I am trying to reinstall it and see if it happens again or not, either way I would like to know what is going on. In any case that I fix the problem I'll post or re-edit once more.

Edit 1: Ok I opened the windows the default way. (from the Icon's at separate folders) and ok everything fine but I would still like to know how to open it the default way (through the AC control panel) and how to load the website as well in the default way.

alright i followed the link, but i googled it, downloaded it, the first time i put it to the winrar file and tried to extract it to the windows file but it says access denied. so i tried it again and saved it to system 32 and at the end of the download i clicked open file and it gave me a error message. so i started up my sql again and i got the same error.

I followed the instructions step by step. My account is made. MySql -> Website -> Logonserver -> Antrix, all seem to load with no errors or problems. I type in my new username and password and it authenticates. I see my server. When I connect to my server it says Connected (Logging into game server) but doesn't go any farther than that. I'm sure I'm missing just some tiny thing in one of the config files i hope. Any ideas? I'm using WoW Patch 2.1.3 so i set:

<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "7000">

Edit: I finally got it to connect. In my frustration and anger i just spammed Connect/Cancel a few times and it worked. :)

I have the AC Web Ultimate Repack folder installed under my F: Drive -- I do realise, it says it must be under the C: drive -- but this computer doesn't have one. Our normal drive is our D: while our gaming and etc. drive is F:. Is there anyway to modify the program to work off either one of those, or is a private server out of the question for our C-less computer?

The joomla back end adds a nice touch to the website. The problem is that I think it's too feature rich to add as a back end. I've been using joomla now on various sites. I just feel theres way to much there to serve and configure to each user, this just might create a headache for the admins, and then the users who are going to post questions about setting it up.

Right now all of the images are not being passed through to each end user who's trying to access the site on the front end. Thats because of the localhost setting in the config.. that will have to be changed to each user and tailored to each users website address.

This isn't a complain, please don't take it as so. I give you guys mad kudos for how easy you have made this all. And I thank everyone who has contributed thus far.

Help pls server was working fine until i downloaded 5.8.2 when i go to install it says some files were unable to install and to reboot the computer... i rebooted it and it says the same thing
so i tried starting the server it goes all the way down to the bottom and keeps saying timeout... then i go to log in and i cant log in to make regular account and can only get on admin and the server isnt on the list.

ok peeps I'm a bit screwwed on the new server, 1. as in the website is very nice but we can't costumize/don't know how to costumize it, 2. my users have to start all over again couse the database is not compatable from the old to the new server, 3, I'm gonna have to costumize the whole thing again couse u guy's completely changed the server website, forum, database setup and a backup from the old files is not gonna work anymore, so excuus us for this comment but we ain't happy this server missed the point in upgrading from-to in a start again from scratch update, we do know tram's and stuff are now working but our players ratter use the old server and get stuck on bugs then having to startover again, if u guy's know a solution we will take our harse words back, but as it is this really isn't any fun to use the new server.

These "harse" words? If your players want the old server back then give it to them. If you don't like the changes in the repack don't use it. The changes i made are better in the long run. Joomla is highly customizable and the accounts will go over very easily you just need to use the terranet version.

errr used both versions and the data base is completly difrent on both so chars, player items, costum items, costum spawns, anything else that is costumized will not and can't be taken to the new server and by god we tried and been working on it from the moment u posted the new version, then the website itself is donne brillantly but we can't costumize it so peeps will fill in thier realmlist.wtf file to the right adress couse we can't costumize it, a completely new forum all our old posts lost and needs to be again costumized, all my members need to again register, and when we are donne in 2 weeks on costumizing u will probbably setup a new version again from scratch, sorry but we as the legendary maniacs simply do not have the time or resources to keep doing this if u guy's really want to plz set it up on beeing updateble stick to the formats and setups you are using couse that's what is making people using a certian server, a server that can be updated whitout having to keep on costumizing continuosly, maybe the new server is better in the long run, but in 2 or 3 weeks at the next update u will probably say the same, over and over, until large groups like us in search of a fun private server that is updatable and workable to update, like backing up the old files and in case of custom stuff backup some more than usual and putting it back on the new, and some configfile changes, and done, on this new server we can't on both version's, will walk away, and give you a bad revieuw like just now ooohh and the costum weapons/armor maker stuff what every body enjoyed so much doesn't work on this either so u can imaging the anger of those used to working/playing those "costumized for own use" stuff this server might be great if u just want to keep on switching and not costumizing but that is just what we want clear info for the player on what to do how to do and not having them doing it over and over again every 2 to 3 weeks.

dude joomla is a first on a private server to be used like this i agree after a nice arm wrstle we finaly figured out what it was, thanks for a tut to go along whit your repack we could surely have used it (joke), then not everybody understands everything so sometimes u need to tell peeps what it is, second we do not use the server for a replacement of the original, for us it's an experiment and fun platform then again when u proudly go and setup a new repack you might wanna use your costum stuff from the previous one, maybe u could think about that, it might help the peeps that used the previous server aswel, then you might wanna know that most forums that actually promote your repack are bursting out in flaming sessions (we don't want anny part of it we just wanna solve the probs we got on this new repack), you probably seen it aswel, for the same reason i mildly asked u if u had a solution to the database problem, and when u then give me an answer like before yeah i do get mad, couse i was actually not very intrested in the website but more on the custom items and spawns in the database that took us noobs 3 weeks to figure out and work around to implement, and surely the players that lost everything but thier acounts are not happy, so u might just be able to imagine that it's not workable to keep on doing this, aswel for those that play and aswel for those that try to keep it al in a fun perspective to do, and aswel from all the complaining and whinning people are gonna do at your adress for u, so please don't get us wrong here we mean you no harm but please for the next server keep in mind that there are those that wanna take the old database to the new server, and just wanna have fun, couse this isn't funy and costing us a lot of free time we would like to spend having fun, like whit our family's and friends, think u probably wanna do the same instead of reading complaints and flaming sessions, so if we can see eachothers point of vieuw we might just work this out.

Well Jargs I like the new repack, but dont like the Web site, now I am all about the web site as you know, but damit I can't figure this one out. So I used another, wished you would have given us some instruction on how to set that baby up, I had 3 of my coders looking at it and we are stumped lol, I reconfigured the sql area of joomla so it would stop looking for the localhost and put in my ip info and still the account creation states error antrix.account db not found... now i have seperated out my dbs to two players and antrix, so when updating I dont lose player info, and i deleted the accounts table in the antrix db. felt it may cause some problems, but i cant find the statment in the reg.php file that directs it to the db so i can change that info to look in the player db instead. if i can change that, then maybe my new players can create new accounts.

As for the updated Db Sweet, works well for my peeps and many kudos to you from my server community, keep up the good work. we also updated the core a few more rev's and solved some more bugs as well, so looking forward to the new repack.

If you have some suggestions on how to get that account creation page working pls let me know asap

Hello, I just joined and downloaded 5.8.2 today. It is looking good so far, I was able to set it up with no problems.
But I am having one problem now with using navicat and Heidi (tried both now).
My problem is I cannot connect to the MySOL server to make a new connection to get into the DB.
Both programs give me a "2003 - Can't connect to MySQL Server on 'locahost' (10061) when I try to make a new connection.
I am using both the username and password given in the readme, which are root and Antrix, and the connection name I am using is antrix.
What am I doing wrong?

Unbelievable. I deleted everything, inlcuding AC Web folders, uninstalled navicat, reinstalled them both, went through the Antrix steps again with generating maps, and navicat still refuses to let me connect to the MySQL server.
I am going to list all my steps, in case there is something I don't know about that i am doing wrong -

Installed AC web to proper folder "c:\AC Web Ultimate Repack"
Extracted AD and Maps folder to my wow folder, ran AC to get the maps (WOW version 2.1.3).
Transferred over maps to \antrix folder
Opened navicat and tried to connect using connection name antrix, user root, pass antrix/Antrix (tried both) - connection not allowed.

I didn't even tamper with any settings, by the way, i am using navicat 8, but this happens even with earlier versions too.

Is there something I am overlooking, or is it just my unatural bad luck working against me (as usual)?

I don't know whether this is just me or it is everyone. But the Hyjal area trigger takes you to the part you go to back in the WoWemu days. And in BT a lot of the mobs have almost no damage or are level 1 (From the training grounds up...I think). Is this just me or is it everyone?

I am getting several errors when I try to start up apache. One was for OCI.DLL and I d/l it but I still get an error from that. It is also asking for other files like aspell-15.dll. Anyone having this same issue?

I was able to get the navicat to accept the connection finally, but I have been noticing a couple in game problems that I was wondering if anyone is experiencing too.

First is that the warlock demon vendor does not sell any abilities for demons, and the one in the first area sells shaman training to any class.

Second, the first human priest mission (Heal and fortify Guard Roberts) is broken.
instead of the completion requirement saying Guard Roberts healed and fortified, it says Guard Roberts defeated 0/1.

Third, I still cannot enter an instance unless I am in a party, which is a problem since I am playing this alone without anyone else.

Is there a fix for these, a better db, or a way around them?

Nevermind, I just downloaded one of the db's and hopefully installed it right. maybe this will solve my problems.
That did not fix the quest problem, but after doing some research, I found out that the vendor problem does not lie in the db, but the latest antrix according to the project silvermoon website.


Since that quest for human priest is broken, is there a way to flag it as complete?

(note that these are instructions for a previous repack, I can't get the latest, it's too big. I'll get fapped...damn satellite. However some of these instructions may still work fine.)

Go to the first post and download the repack. Run the executable and let it unzip to "C:\AC-Web Ultimate Repack". The unzipper also left a shortcut on your desktop to a CP. Double-click on it. Click MySQL, and wait about 5 seconds. Then click Logonserver, and wait until that indicates "Hooking signals . . ." Then click antrix and wait approximately 30 seconds. Open up your "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\ and right-click "realmlist.wtf". Click Open with... and select Notepad.

Modify the line:
set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com

to

set realmlist 127.0.0.1

Open up WoW and type in username "admin" and password "admin". Congratulations on your first private server. If some of my instructions are wrong for the latest repack, correct me =) And Conker, if you get problems, go to http://youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0. You can get easy help there =D

PS. I know I omitted the map extracting but I have never done it. Ascent works just fine w/o maps.

There was a bug in 5.9.5... -.- thats why i edited the thread to put the 5.8.2 download back. I have 5.9.5 on my computer fully working but i just don't have time to upload it right now.

MySQL keeps getting an error that looks like this:

And I do not have a previously existing MySQL server.. I don't understand what to do to get around this. And I can't start the server without MySQL, please help.

Hit ctrl+alt+del, go to processes, and see if a process called "mysqld.exe", "mysqld-nt.exe", or something along those lines is running. If so click it, end process, and try to run the AC-Web MySQL again.
