Seriously what is religion, a belief in there being a deity that made everyone and everything? I would like to take this time to point something out that will piss of those who are religious nutjobs;
According to the Bible or the Holy Book Adam and Eve were the first two humans, well I got some news for you, if this is true then congratulations were all committing incest.

Now another statement that is true: Noah's Ark, guess what it says he only took HIS family on it. Once again congratulations we're committing incest by this matter once again!

So after these two statements do you think your religion if you're Christian or Jewish or w/e except Atheist, (atheist go complain at the trees for being to green.)

I would also like to state now; I'm a Theist which means I believe there is a Deity but to me religion is just a bunch of bull shit.

I believe that "Religion" was something to get power, in the old world, the priests have all the power and fame, they were the lords, I just think that it is to get power...

This isn't opinion discussion, this is intellectual discussion. Opinions are more appropriate in general chat amongst other places. But not here.

To OP:
Technically you would still be related to everyone else. Why? Because this being that created the line of humans would have created a bunch of heavily related people. So technically you can't escape incest because you don't believe in religion. You are screwed no matter what. And even if you came from slime in pools of heated goo, your cells and whatever else made you would have had asexual reproduction. You are living with people very similar to you that you are related to.

Oh no.

Religion is what a person made up one day when he was incredibly bored.
But being as where all humans, we took it seriously...
lawl, one person controlling all things, makes sense ?
Heaven/Hell ? If you do "bad" things you go to hell eh ? If thats true your "God" belongs there as well, he created all the bad things, he could have stopped all organisms from doing harm right ?
Ohh but if you believe in "God" you can be "saved" and go to heaven ? Does that mean all the murderers and rapists etc. are there ? Did you know Adolf Hitler was a catholic ? Also, heaven is supposed to be some perfect place right ? For a perfect place to be in existence we'd all have to be mindless and just do well, nothing. That, or we all do whatever we want, but i'm sure you know some people like to rape and kill and other things. Hmmmmm...

When you are a child you are told there is a Santa Clause, a Tooth Fairy, an Easter Bunny and a God... isn't it time we outgrew these imaginary beings.

Well actually, some scientist believe there is chance of being a god. Santa Clause did exist at one time but he died long time ago.

So far according to science they have found out what was the second source of our creation but they have yet to figure the first source of our creation, which leaves hope in people that there may truly be a deity known as God / Gods.
