Well All you have to do for smooth animations is to make each frame carefully and make them about 40 on kind of animation like this.. maybe more to get the smooth effect...

umm okay the text the background i just had one big picture and took cuts of the size i needed and for each new frame i moved down a hair. and for the text .. i just added it to each frame making sure the previous ones frame was off. it gets a bit jumpy at the end but was because i wasnt paying attention to how much picture i had left.
