Right. As you probably should know, the universe was created by the Big Bang.
I don't believe that because of this Big Bang, our Earth was just suddenly created.
This is my theory.
Right, so billions of years ago, the Big Bang started time. It took about a billion years for the forces, dust, rocks and such to form. The main force, gravity, was one of the main reasons that this Earth is unique.
About 4 billion years after the big bang (well..not sure), the first planets of the universe were formed by gravity pulling rocks and dust together.
I believe that in our group of planets, Earth had a twin. But one day (well...lightyear....i dunno), Earth's twin collided with the Earth.
This was probably the first of several cataclysmic events that led the Earth to being unique.
By the Earth colliding with it's twin, both of their gravitational fields joined together, creating a stronger Gravitational Field.
I could go on for days about how the Earth was made. But I won't.
I'll explain my theory on the moon, too.
The Moon is made out of Earth's Twin's remains (Rocks), some of Earth's gravity stayed around in the atmosphere, so, these spacerocks gradually formed together over millions of years, causing the Moon to be formed. This explains the tides too, as the Moon has it's own gravitational field, the seas are 'pulled' towards the moon.
Also, you know the dinosaurs? There is proof that a meteorite killed them. Look at this image: http://www.geologytimes.com/Images/Chicxulub_crater_illustration.jpg
That is the location of the Dinosaurian Meteorite's impact.
A point that I'm trying to prove is that life has died out plenty a' time, global warming isn't that bad compared to what the Earth has faced:
Giant Meteorites
Ice Ages
Volcanic Eruptions (This is cause by the Earth but oh well.)
So, surely we would adapt to Global Warming?
(Sorry if this was a bit messy, was talking on MSN at the same time.)
