So, I could use this to go to Argent Charger - Item - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47179) and add the item for the mount?
I can't actually test this tonight as im busy but it definetly looks good and so's the idea behind it.

Just add the 47179 in item ID.
And you will have that item in your Arcemu DB !

Every item I attempt to add to my DB via Item Grabber says its already in my db, I'm sure they aren't. When I attempt to run the sql manually I get "[Err] 1366 - Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'quest_id' at row 1". I'm using an up-to-date NCDB DB. Please let me know anything I can do to fix this awesome tool of yours.

Did you do the latest sql patches for arcemu ?
Because it works on Arcemu patch 3.2

Yep, I'm on rev 2860. Seems something is different with my items table structure.

EDIT: After looking a little closer it seems the SQL may be the error.

The red highlight is the part causing the error, it's supposed to be a number not empty, I should be able to make due with this for now though, thanks for this.

The multi-item is slow because wowhead will ban you if you do more then 2 requests a second.
So the program waits 1 second after an item.
But i am trying to make it more stable.

EDIT: Started the program after the most recent crash and now all I get when I click find is a red X where the item picture should be and it doesn't give an sql, even on the default 47261 item, no idea what caused this but please look into it when you can.

I've been testing this for a while now, and i think it's fantastic. I just wish i was able to edit the entry ID's and maybe see a record of ID's of Items that have been added, especially when added items in mass hoping to vendor them.

All in all, an essential piece of software. Wish i'd have known about it sooner. It'd have saved me a lot of time.

Wowhead (and other similar sites) is not exactly a reliable source of data. If I were you I wouldn't waste my time ripping their item datas.
You should extract them from retail, since that's the only reliable source.

apart from the fact thaat WoW head has the stats of retail ect... as soon a s the patch for retail come sout WoW head updates there db's to include them items,... therefor this wud just put it directly onto ur db wich is very good so take ur hate sum were else

Well I didn't want to start anything but I am really sure he is pulling the information from allakazham.com which has all the info need for everyitem except the range on ranged weapons.. I couldnt find that.

World is the database name for arcemu or mangos where you ritem table is in located.
Maybe do you have another name then world, just fill in the right db name.

1. Did you restart the server
2. Did you delete your cache before logging back in?
3. Are you basing this info on the Items the Item Grabber tool added or your ArcEmu Database period?

Because if you did not do steps 1 & 2 - you didn't do it right.

This thing does not grabb items from wowhead, it grabb items from allakhazam. But it works perfect for mangos +rep.

Easy way to get all items (i recommend do this before u go to bed) go to multi item then type 1 to 49000 it will add all items hehe :D

I thought you might wanna know that this works perfect under MaNGOS 3.2.2 running in Windows 7 Ultimate but DOESN'T work on Windows 2003 or 2008 Server...Crashes from Authentication Error.

i had to go from 46000 - 50000 to get all the items

as 49636 being Reins of the Onyxian Drake and the new onyxia items are 49000+

but the older items shouldnt have to start at 1 :P should start at like 29000 - 50000 :)

Edit: I just noticed the new onyxia items do not have model's so if u equip one of the new items it will be basically air :P but the stats do work any kind of item with a chance on hit spell will not work properly.

It's not really a matter of a fast computer. I've got a super nice box, still takes about the 2secs/item that it states. Since it has to pull the info from the net.

Also, to the awesome creator of this; I'm getting a lot of "This item is already in the database." errors, for items that aren't in there.
Example, I had to manually add about 70 items that it said I had, that I didn't. It's getting allowable class/race wrong, it's also pulling the wrong spell IDs. So...is this gonna be updated?

I didn't say it was supposed to work for spells, I was stating it was gathering the wrong spell IDs that are used on the items itself. So the information it was attempting to inject into the DB were wrong. Items have spell IDs.

Happened for me aswell, restarted server 5+ times, deleted cache atleast 2 times but still, stats are applied but does not show on item. :S

Pardon the wording. I'm saying ONLY the sockets aren't showing for me. All other changes to the items are showing up though. All the changes show up on the items. The original post was;

So despite not being able to see that there are sockets, at first, once I added gems they show up...everything else is fine.

It actually works very well for mangos. Only some items seem to be getting the wrong info parsed. Out of 1,500 item numbers run, I already had 500ish, it got about 150 wrong, and got me the rest perfectly. Can't wait till he updates it farther.

Rofni.There is already a vendor grabber if you search mangos forums or udb or trinitydatabase.Better head on something more important like spawns or creatures or w/e.It's just a suggestion I know you're working for free but making a vendor grabber is just like doing a thing twice.

You can update now and test the vendor grabber ! But only use on a test server !! It still has bugs.

Bugs that i know :
- The tool crashes when you search a vendor that also can teach spells, like this one (Alchemist Kanhu - NPC - World of Warcraft (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=33674))
Don't use those vendors until its fixed.
- Extended costs don't work all the time (Almost fixed)

Personally I think the tool works great. We've added it to our list of tools over at PS and it's saved us tons of time. I think he's headed the right way with the vendor though. Spawns are too sporadic to be accurate on wowhead; and NPC wise there's not much data you can get online. Only a few fields worth which are of little importance since you can do it by hand or with quice in a matter of seconds. :cool:

Ok, before I download this updater, is it possible to replace items from mysql with the items from the wowhead database using the multi item option? The main reason why I asked this question is because a majority of my items(especially herioc items)in my database have modified stats that I would like to fix. As you know it takes a long time individually modifing every corrupted item. My core is Arcemu, and thanks is given to an answer to my problem.

Yep, I'm on rev 2860. Seems something is different with my items table structure.

EDIT: After looking a little closer it seems the SQL may be the error.

The red highlight is the part causing the error, it's supposed to be a number not empty, I should be able to make due with this for now though, thanks for this.

I started a fresh download.. with v1.4.1.. items 25 -100..

100 no on wowhead

Hey guys, I downloaded it and inserted new items to the server. If i use the normal "Find" button i cant wear them ingame, it says "You can never use that" or somtinhg like this. If I use the "WoW Head Search" Button I can wear the items ingame but they have not the right enchants and sockest. What should I do ??
