Subject:Server problem
Problem:Everything seems to be fine, I can join it no problem, I have made accounts for the people that I want to join in Navicat. But they apparently cannot log on to my server
Additional Information: I can connect fine and everything seems to be going right but others cannot

What message do your friends get? Are the files configured for Hamachi, or not for Hamachi?
Robz33

Do you have a DynDNS? And could you post your .conf files so I could take a look at them?
Robz33

It looks good! But the other computers that try to connect, what do they write in their realmlist? And are those PCs a part of your LAN?
Your hosts file, how does it look?

To host your server online you need an Dynamic DNS. F.ex robz33.servegame.org...
I run my server fine without that. thats just an old-wives tail.
Are you port Forwarding correctly?
Note: Robz33 Please avoid double posting
Robz33
06-24-2007, 12:49 AM
I wasnt aware that I had to forward ports, which one do i need to forward
How do you foward a port ?
[Nazzeth]
06-24-2007, 07:20 AM
Its in the router. if you connect to your router you should find somewhere (depending on router) "Firewall" or "Port Forwarding" you must forward all the ports in your config files to your Internal IP address,
Robz33
06-24-2007, 03:12 PM
About how many ports should i be forwarding, just so i can be sure, so far ive found 4 ports that i should be forwarding:
3306
8129
3724
8093
lilnate22
06-24-2007, 03:36 PM
yep those are all of em
well add port 80 while ur at it
Robz33
06-24-2007, 03:38 PM
if i may, what is port 80 for?
question, in my realmlist is it supposed to be 127.0.0.1 or is it supposed to be 192.168.0.101 because the ports are forwarded to the latter if the two.
I forwarded the ports and my friend still says he cant connect here is a picture of what i forwarded in case i did it wrong
