[Tutorial] Easy database editing (items qeusts npc)

In my opinion this is the most easy way to edit Database :

Start with downloading : http://filebeam.com/dab537849de89ec60450350e4124bb79


now put Both files in .../AC Web Ultimate Repack/Server/MySQL/data

Now start up the Control Panel
klick on server -> MySQL

now start up AscentDBEditor

Host = localhost
Port = 3306
Username = root
Password = Ascent (or Antrix in old repacks)
Database = Ascent (maybe that is antrix to in old repacks)

Now klick Proceed (if you dont have MySQL running it wont connect)

Now go ahead and edit you database,

Just lookup the look you want by Choose item (npc qeust etc)
and make sure to remember your Entry id (dont copy those of origenal or the origenal will be lost) cause that is what you need to .additem XXX and .npc spawn XX etc.

After you made your item just klick "update" and you can start your server with the new items. if the item you made is now how you like it just look it up change it and update again.

1 : What is the difference?

2: go to Choose npc , than tkae a npc whos look you want (type like thrall if you want thrall) then just change name/ entry id and evrything however you want it.

First absolute zero for posting a working emulator for the not so savvy computer literate people, and now for this database editor.
I can play the game now the way I want to with a few of my friends our of my own home without it costing me a fortune for 4 accounts between myself, spouse and my 2 oldest kids :D we all love WoW but 60 bucks a month for a video game is a bit much.
This is very nice work and thank to the you guys who create the databases, and setting up easy to use programs the average gamer can enjoy the game :D

everytime i try to update anything it says there is an open datareader associated with this connection that must be closed first.
