WoW Custom Model?

Hey I was wondering if it could be possible to make a custom model in a 3d program (like blender), and then program it into a WoW private server. If so could someone try to explain?

Btw I heard of someone making a custom shield with a 3d program for the EPS-WoW server owner.

You can but this involves model editng and only you can see it.Very long and confusing to explain.

to host it publicly you would need to relese a new client or patch.
HSwow has done this but it has hardly been done.

You can make a completly custom model for mounts/items ect if you have the the right programes.
