BAM. My first worry about a meteor hitting the earth was from the first time I played some random RTS about that sort of thing happening.

Just stop and think about it.. how many planets do we have orbitings around the sun past earth, and how many moons do all of those planets have orbiting around them? I'm pretty sure if there ever were to be a meteor swarming toward earth, I very well much doubt it would get past all of the other planets and moons. I'm pretty sure there was a reason why earth is the third rock from the sun, and that there are all of those other planets and moons orbiting around the sun further then us. omg i just actually watched the video, lol that was increadible, that would be an awesome way for the world to end, and i mean awesome in the literal sense, to see how fragile the world can be and how much power a meteor that size can have and the effect it has on a planet the size of earth. I like how it showed japan get ripped to shreds at the beginning, of course it would have happened MUCH faster than that lol XD the speed made it increadibly dramatic though which was cool. But this has happened before, the moon was created in this manner according to many theories. A meteor just took a chunk out of the eart and the debri, which had such a large mass eventually pulled itself together into the moon and began orbiting the big blue planet =P. I have a idea! why dont thay put Lasers on the moon (BIG ONES) that are like 1000 MW or w/e 20 of them and put somthing on the "planet" thats comeing for us fire the lasers 1000 pulses every sec and try and move it out out of earths orbit and fire it back where it came from?
