Upon a request from a person on the forum I have decided to refine and release my "repack" of sorts for linux systems. This should work in downloading and compiling the arcemu source code without any necessity of the users help except in the stage of building the mysql database. This repack contains several files, some of them are scripts to be run using terminal and a few are instructions on the process of using this repack. It comes build with a sql file that you will easily import into your mysql database which will be built in the script that you have to run. Simply follow the instructions and start your server. I must state that I personally and not a supporter of ArcEmu, mainly due to Hasbro and the main community at ArcEmu although I will admit that their server is fine...

Here is the repack for all who want to use it. This is SuDoX giving support to all the linux users out there, I've been through the trouble so I am going to save you the time!

Download Here: SuDoX Repack http://www.mediafire.com/file/mmcj2xztjzo/Sudo_Linux_Repack.tar.gz **Built as of June 11th 2009

Enjoy!

:::UPDATE::: ~July 27, 2009
Okay so I keep stepping off the scene because lately there hasn't been much to see! I have got a nice quad core processor, 1gb GDDR3 video card, 4gb DDR3 ram now so my hardware is setup! Due to the fact that my dell Windows XP disk won't work with my custom built pc :-P I am permanently using Linux (Ubuntu 9.04) with a Windows system on my laptop (Just in case). Now I am wondering if anyone is interested in a repack for Hearthstone (Aspiredev.net now). If so I would be more than willing to attempt to make a repack, I ran into some errors a couple weeks ago trying to compile and run it but I can give it another try if people want! Comment here or PM me!

this isnt for all distros of Linux. You also must have sudoers installed (most distros come without it)

ty,,+rep I have been wanting
to run a Linux and try your
other Linux. ooooo,,perfect
way to test my Linux compiling.. :)

last time I ran 3 Linux distros on
my sys they all competed for the
partitioning or something. I have
just finished re partitioning so no
problem now,,I know most of the
distros have a program that does
all of that, but after the first one
its gets mixed up or something.

linux :)

This is in fact built for Debian based linux OS's. Ubuntu is the system it was originally built for but it should work with most any Debian system. If you are using another linux OS and would like this repack for that system make a request and I will see what I can do. Thank you for the support.
