[RELEASE]ArcEmu Mod - GlobalWow.net

[LegendaryEpic]

Hey guys, this is an arcemu mod which lets all players own pieces of the map and spawn stuff on it.

This is a GM server mod where players can use GM commands only in certain areas of the map. Players use the .buyland command somewhere on the map (where it's still free) and then become the "owner" of that part of the map. The owned land is an area of around 100x100 units (smaller in cities). It's saved in the database and only the owner can use GM commands on that piece of land. The owner can then spawn npc and gameobjects to make constructions. This way players can build their nice creations and others can't destroy it. Of course the number of stuff you can spawn is limited.

Players can spawn vendors on their land and add them any wow item. Players can also spawn trainers and add them any wow spell. Uber spells can only be used on players own land and in instances. These lands can be setup individually as pve, pvp or arena. Players need to renew their ownership from time to time to get rid of one timer players.

This package includes the source code based on arcemu 2385 and the prebuilt binaries. It also includes the empty database structures which have very little differences from arcemu. It doesn't include config files and arcscript dll, take them from arcemu.

just thought of an idea make it so like you can buy a piece of land only if you donated then on your donation panel you get accses to after you donate you can make npcs and game objects and stuff just for you

Oh yeah!I forgot to mention that theres a GM building server called "GlobalWoW" the server is based on this repack. So I wouldn't know much of this repack as well as I know other repacks. This repack is way different from what I know and from what I saw, I believe the scripts are within the core itself. Sorry if I can't help or if I don't know. :(

hi can i get some help here, ill save my self time and ask, someone who has a server with this DB on it up and running can you upload it and send me the link, i dont wanna sound like a noob but i was playing with it for awhile and cant get it to work, when i download it, it doesnt have a SQL starter again dont want to sound like a noob but if someone could just send me a version they'v tweeked a little i would very much appericate that :)

This shouldnt be difficult to install. Load the empty logon and char db. Load the populated world db using sqlyog. This distribution doesnt include config files. Take them from arcemu. Set your realm to PVE for all functionnalities. Use with the included arcemu-logon.exe.

Okay, have fun, but there is a real server called GlobalWow, so I'm pretty sure they would call me a stealer if I made a server with this. Either way, have fun.

globalwow is open source and the globalwow server is globalwow.net and the only way to steal this is no giving credits and fyi i'm a developer for the core. and the svn is http://globalwow.net:8080/svn/globalwow/
