If Jargs will update revision with 2.3.0 updates, funservers are ruined. (P.S. high lvl caps can bug server&characters).

We will not be lowering the level cap,
i know what i am doing, If there are bugs with level cap
then i will edit the sql and fix the level bugs
i will be opening the server this week,
if new repack is not rdy yet, pl downgrade ur wow
to do that delete patch.mpq and hit repair.exe
let it repair, u will be on patch 2.0
download patchs until ur at 2.2.3, then, only run wow from the wow.exe in ur wow folder
otherwis, it will update to 2.3
we will not have the custom mods for another couple of weeks
but we are hoping to release tier 7 within a week after new patch
neone who joins b4 we have the leveling area and custom mobs
will be leveled to 254 upon reaching 70
so join asap
we will be looking for GMs but not ne at the moment, not until we have alot of ppl playing on our server

hix1990, I wish you good luck with the level cap. I'll quote something from Burlex what he did too do the SVN --
Copied from Ascent Forums -- I didn't write this, but Burlex did:
Seems my SVN commit didn't get the message across, a bunch of you are flaming without knowing the full story.
WoW is based around these little things called formulas. They determine the XP you get, the damage you do, etc. These formulas are EXTREMELY sensative, and are only made to take up to a certain input value (70). When you start going over that level limit,
1. Entering out-of-bounds data could result in a crash.
2. Could result in abnormally high or abnormally low values.
3. The feature not working at all.
All 3 of those lead to "idiots" posting crappy bug reports on the forum, and I quote "MY CLASS IS THE MOST NERFED FIX IT". They don't tell us *ANYTHING* about the environment they're running under. So how do we know what bug reports to go and test, and which ones to toss out? We don't. That means time WASTED by us checking other people's bugs, caused by their mistakes. And I got tired of it.
The ones who are capable of re-enabling the feature obviously have some skill, so they should know to test the feature under normal conditions before posting a bug report.
If anyone disagrees with what I just said, feel free to argue, but post responsibly, or your posts will be deleted.
--------------------------------------------------------------
In short: The level cap cannot be edited in the config files anymore You will not be able to raise the cap trough Repacks -- as its precompiled, and I don't think Jargs is going to edit the SVN everytime before he compiles a new repack Burlex hard-coded the level cap. As he connected it to many other variables, which won't work & causing compilation errors when edited wrong.
My advice, stick with the old revision. Perhaps 1_7_stable? I liked your ideas though.

I never saw that on Ascent forums (blind me?), but QFT anyways. Burlex knows what he's talking about.

Its like i said, i know what i am doing, I've owned many private servers, yes deathtouch is the private server i use to own
i made my own repack for it, however, i lost my internet connection on my other computer, my lil bro kinda downloaded something that turned out to be a virus, it ate away at my connection.
so its been down for a couple of months, i didnt feel like writing another repack, so im just using 7.1, which, if 7.1 does not have a spot to change level cap, i will write one in myself, as for bugs and what such,
the only problem i have seen is with Druids, mainly night elfs
and that is that when they open their character menu past level 105 they crash
other than that, my level cap is fine
and i plan on fixing the druid char menu problem.
come on guys this stuff is easy..
so trust me, i know what i am doing, and if jargs would let me i would join their team n making repacks
I mite just be able to develope a stable ascent for them.
but as of rite now, i see no reason too.
as for GM apps, we arent accepting ne rite now
our server isnt even open yet. we wont be looking for gms for a couple of months.
once more players join, we mite look for gms then, but rite now, we have 2 admins and thats all we need
