Guys, I have created the Most BLIZZ LIKE Repack!!

Using ArcEmu Rev:2473
Using NCDB Rev 83
All Credits Goes to Me, Yes I Am Knight :D

I also added 2000+ Lua Scripts released by Pedregon

I ll make new repacks and updating the database and ArcEmu revs if i get a nice feedback.

lol, i didnt go on checking every npc if its spawned right so i dont know, and there are 2000+ LUA Scripts so yeah the dungeons are scripted.
If they are not, post them and i ll check + update + Fix :D

Why will i take Pics of a Non Customized Server? i didnt add a single SQL query in it, so its all like normal WoW.....

Hmm its a nice try for one of your first try but there are quite a few blizzlike repacks out there for yours to be special before releasing it you would want to do something that none of them have like fully scripted nax or something. He is right there is not real time in this repack it doesn't take that long to put together but if you put some work into it then it does

@Slade1000 - Hehe, Not first time, i used to make funserver and blizz like Repacks all the time, 8 months ago when Ascent was still up :P then i quit and now started all over again :P

@Nadskap2 - Yeah I Know, i am planning to after a lil while. I ll be recruiting Devs and all for that really soon.

I have yet to see a Blizz-like repack that works entirely, for all you people saying that it is easy to make one. Sure, it is easy to throw one together, but to make one that works 100%? Apparently not.

Things I have consistently seen NOT working in a Blizzlike (and I'm sure there are more I haven't found):

-Death Knight start area
-Death Knight summoning (raise dead, army of the dead)
-Warlock pet quests and pet ability level ups
-Hunter pet quests and pet ability level ups
-Mob placement (particularly clipping issues, invisible mobs)
-Blood Elf racial abilities
-Quest chains
-Mob behavior (The Eye of C'thun is not supposed to chase you down a hallway)

I personally don't see why you'd want a twink realm if the foundations don't even work properly.

Knight, if you are willing to go through a revision process, there are people who will appreciate the work you do.

I'll give this a look when I'm finished playing around with QQ's Conan repack.

lets see all of those lol except quest chains and mob behaviors and some quests are c++ are like hardcore c++ scripting like deathknight area is allot of c++ dragon quest and all those other quests so yah thats the problem with those the best you can get is fully scripted instances and most npcs added with proper loot and item prices without knowing exactly how to fix everything in the core its just better to wait for arcemu to fix them

Absolutely dead on correct! And I've made bold the parts that really made me applaud. It's very easy to see the repacks that were just "thrown" together vs. the ones where the creators took their time and did it right (or as right as you can get given the tools at their disposal). Please Knight, stick around and don't let people get you down. I'm still running a 2.4.3 repack (one of Zenathor's later ones) and it works very well, aside from some unavoidable problems. I have yet to find a WOTLK repack that's good enough to make me switch over. I know it takes time and effort, and believe me many of us are extremely grateful to guys like you who actually TAKE time and effort and don't just "throw stuff together". Keep it up, please!

Yeah, exactly, btw all those things you listed, i ll be checking all of them and it actually depends on the DB and the Core, if the Core has that bug, i just wait for a Rev Update, and if it's DB error, then i try my best fixing it.
I ll update this thread telling which of those bugs are fixed, were fixed or cant be fixed :P

Knight, I'm pretty new to a lot of this, and am currently picking at SQL and database programming. If I come across anything that might be useful, I'll be sure to let people know, but I'm no developer yet. If you want to hear about any bugs or glitches I happen to come across, let me know.

Okay guys! This is very weird! But its Megaupload actually doing all this! I upload the repack, it uploads in 2mins, and when i paste the link here and go back on it, it is a file of 400+ MB which is not mine, im currently uploading it on someother website, like filebeam and filehosting.com So hold on for a few minutes!

Not being entirely sure what it was, I deleted it (but not before sampling the music files of course --- can never pass up on the chance to get some good free gaming music). Now that I think about it, I should've started wildly clicking on .exe's. Might've been a good free game! :)

Okay, I downloaded the correct file and was all ready to settle in and test it and provide some feedback, but when running logonserver I got this message:

this application has failed to start because libeay32.dll was not found

I could probably easily find the file and install it myself, but as I;ve never had this problem in the dozens of repacks I've tried, I wanted to make sure to check with you and report it first, to see if maybe this is something that can be fixed on your end.

hmm, those are actually the .DLL Files some people need....
i dont need it, thats why i didnt remember to put it in the repack, the file i need is collision.dll which is already in it, anyways, here i uploaded the .dll files you may need, just unextract the folder, copy all the .DLL files in it, and paste them in your ArcEmu Folder:

Thanks a lot. I'll start testing this repack later today. Since I don't really know what constitutes ArcEmu core issues vs. issues you yourself can correct, do you mind if I just list any big problems I find?

EDIT: Character creation bug: made new char, tried to log in, got disconnected. Navicat shows empty character table.
