Ascent Emulator on A LAN?

Hey guys.
I just wondered if I can check the Emulator without make the server dedicated on a 100mbit.
My PC spec is: AMD Athlon 2.19 Gh\z and 1gb of RAM.
Can I open up a WoW Server only for myself?

I don't see why not. I'm running mine on LAN right now. Only myself and roommate are on it. Haven't tried to get it truly online yet.

Probably not a good idea unless you and a couple of friends are the only ones on. First, It may crash your computer *cough cough* i wont say any names. Second, It slows you CPS (computer processing speed) down significantly, enough to make your computer run about the same as maybe a Windows 93.
