Blizz's new update, can I update?

A friend cannot log into my server because he downloaded Blizz's new patch. Should i log into a US server and download the patch so that my server can run the same version and he can logon?

go into logonserver.conf and change maxclientbuild to his version

MaxClientBuild = 6180

what do i change this to, and how do i get his version?

im not sure who his version but if u r talking about blizzerd all you do id open wow and llok on the bottom left side

actually if i were u id put
MinClientBuild = 6739
MaxClientBuild = 6803

seems to be a bit more user friendly.. thats if u have people on your server o,o.
