Nazzeth, that is an amazing video. Thank you for sharing.
One thing I would like to bring up is this: Do you remember when you were just getting into your teens and really starting to love computers and the Internet? You'd read information that seemed useless for hours and hours, but for some reason you never got bored. After reading, you would tell your parents that x = y and they would get angry and say that the Internet is poisoning your brain. They would say that they spent unimaginable amounts of time researching for their PhD, so they are right and you are wrong. Do you remember in high school when you told your teacher that s/he was wrong, and when s/he asked you where you got that "silly idea" from you said "I read it on the Internet". You would then be sent out of class for talking back and be told off for believing the "poison" on the Internet.
Now after watching that video, I realise that we were right all along. The information we read on the Internet was mostly accurate, and our parent's qualifications were nothing more than a fancy certificate. Our generation (assuming you're between 15-25 now) is the smartest generation, ever. Our constant need for information has forced the Internet to evolve into the biggest source of information in the world. EVERYTHING is on the Internet.
When my children grow up, they will tell me I'm wrong about x and y. I will tell them exactly what my parents told me - "I didn't spend x number of years studying to be told by a 13 year old that I'm wrong!". But then I'll think about it, and I'll realise that my children are downloading information straight into their brains (oh yeah did I mention this technology exists in my future? :P). My children will be so smart that they do not need to go to school. I will lose my job to a 15-year-old who has downloaded the entire Internet into his brain.
Now my children have children, only they are not children. They are human babies with so much computer technology inside them they could be classed as cyborgs. Eventually "The Matrix" will become a reality, except it won't be robots taking over the earth. It will be my children. I will look back at today and remember what it was like to be considered an expert in my field. Then I will look into the eyes of my own grandson, right before he tells me that I am inferior and a waste of the Earth's resources. I will shed one last tear as I reminisce about the old times when humans were humans, and then my grandson will kill me.

You have some solid facts, but you wandered into fairy tale land there for a little bit.

Yeah it did wander off a bit but I think that eventually technology and organics will merge. Technologies are already merging (phones and computers are becoming the same thing) and organics are already becoming very close to technology... I don't see a reason why people won't start voluntarily having bionic parts in the near future.

If people could download information straight to their brains, it would be disturbing, I think that so much information accessing the brain at one time could cause severe brain damage. Also, if it didn't cause that, then wouldn't it be possible for someone to create a "human virus" that would cause people to do jobs for them against their will because it's what has "poisoned" their brain? It would be like Terminator except in real life.

Interesting theory, but this technology already exists and is perfectly safe. A New Zealander has been developing a computer for people who are paralyzed. He's been working on it for over a decade so far. The computer picks up your brain signals so you can communicate with the computer by just thinking :)

No idea, I'll try and find some info on it when I can be bothered. The guy that's developing it is amazing, I don't think he's had any government funding yet - he does it with private funding and his own money. Really good guy, would love to pick his brains, lol.
