Problems:

Q. I get the error "errmsg.sys could not be found"?

A. Make sure that you installed to the location were the installer was set to by default, if this does not work try installing MySQL manually from their website (http://www.mysql.com/).

Q. no Apache doodz!!!111 what do i doz to fix this?!?!1!11

A. Calm down and quit going crazy, I didn't include Apache for a reason because usually if you get Apache from a repack you delete it by accident and have to re-install it all over again. You can download XAMMP for free from their website (http://www.apachefriends.org/download.php?xampp-win32-1.6.8-installer.exe) and the installer should do everything for you then just open apache_start.bat in your XAMMP folder.

Q. Can you just post the DB? I have a core.

A. No, I won't post the DB, I already have it pre-installed and if you want it on your server just Copy & Paste the NCDB folder from \mysql\data\ncdb\ to your data folder.

Q. What are the flags for LK?

A. Officially 32, I don't know why but it is, but in Hex it would be 58 (If you set them to 32 your recall's won't work) So set them to 58.

And my most favorite question off all:

Q. It won't work. Fix it!

A. Change your configs, I left them at default in case you already had your own MySQL server, after you change them it will work!

1.At Deathknight start area when you try to speak whit the gryphon you get critical error?
2.At Deathknight start area quests works? So there is every unit / object / qitem?
3.There are units whit 1 HP in the world?
4.Deathkinght Talents work?
5.Instance questes works?
6.You can get to Northrend from Stormwind and Orgrimmar?

@Xura - Change configs or download AC-Web 7.8 (http://www.mediafire.com/?4y0cj1mytjy) make sure its installed to C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack or esle you'll get the errmsg.sys copy the database over (rename if necessary) to AC Web's server folder and start MySQL that should fix it.

If everyone gets that error it the configuration must have gotten screwed up after compression etc... If that is the reason I'll post a fix.

Thanks for the repack i'm useing it but dont like arcemu so i replaced the ArcEmu files with Aspire and btw you should use a WoTLK registration page!
Or atleast have the WoTLK logo on the account registration page!

Very nice background! I used to like Aspire more also but now I've switched back to ArcEmu. I'll put your background in my next repack (with Credit). And I'm thinking about a funserver repack, not as nice as my server or I'll lose players =P

That should help you could have found all that info on your own, but this should help people who do not know how

Open logon search for <LogonServer RemotePassword = "change_me_logon"

Change that to:

<LogonServer RemotePassword = "123456"

Save it

Open world search for RemotePassword = "change_me_world">

Change that to:

RemotePassword = "123456">

Save it

Restart Server

Hey, I was once a veteran of private servers until my PC was fullfilled with viruses and my WoW account stolen. Now I'm back with a new PC....but I think all my experience simply gone. I'll show you whats my problem:
Longonserver and World say "Impossible to start the specified application" and that the configuration isn't correct. Also, I remember of a really long process that peoples need in order to create a server: like excracting maps from the WoW directory...thanks alot for future answers.

Great repack - But a few bugs for you to nut out :P

Ill list them incase you want to make changes:

Hunters - The Arcane Shot Damages yourself! LOL
All Season V armor bonus stats dont work - like bonus spelldamage doesnt get added on.
People sometimes fall through the ground while battling npc's (in the case i seen it was a tauren warrior falling through the ground in stormwind)

If i see more ill add them here.

I reckon that he once had an old repack that had errors such as that.

Hi guys,

I got all this stuff in and working and finally got the client to run up untill character creation. Then when I try to enter the world it shoots up a fatal exception error and the following is present on my arcemu-world.exe:

12:50 N LogonCommClient: Logonserver latency is 0ms.

Sql query failed due to (Unknown column ‘criteria’ in ‘field list’). Query: (SELECT criteria, counter, date FROM character_achievement_progress WHERE guid = ‘1’)

Sql query failed due to (Unknown column ‘guid’ in ‘field list’). Query: (REPLACE INTO character_achievement_progress (guid, criteria, counter, date) Values (1. 40. 1 1230900729). (1. 5216. 1. 1230900729). Etc......

Am I missing something obvious here or have a lost it completely?

Any help would be much appreciated.

cause else can mysql not find the english version.

Just wanted to throw this out there since I am fairly new to the world of private servers. I got the server up and running no problems, seems very stable. The issues I have may or may not have to do with this repack, I'm not really sure to be honest. Off the top of my head so far I have noticed:

Death Knights generate no runic power, and use no runes when attacking.
Death Knights do not scale properly with stats. I have ~900 strength, and though the tooltips say I have ~1800AP because of it, my stat screen only gives me attack power from items that have basic attack power (hunter items etc).
Warriors seem to be the same way with defense rating, no matter how much I have it doesn't alter my base defense rating.

If its something to do with the emulator and not your repack, sorry for wasting your time. If you had any suggestions on how/if it can be fixed I would love to hear them.
