Guide to Ac-web ultimate repack !!!

Ok guyz !! im posting my guide of making the Server with Ac Webpack :D


[How to setup the server]

1:- Download AC Web Ultimate Repack 6.7 from this given link.
2:- Install it and open the folder "Ac Web Ultimate Repack" in your "C" drive.
3:- Copy the folder "Map Extractor enUS" and paste it in your Wow directory.
4:- Rightclick and click on "Extract here".
5:- you'll notice some folder's refreshing and after that happens double click on "Ad.exe"

6:- A black window will open and it will take 15-20 mins to finish.
7:- Copy a folder "Maps" after "Ad.exe" has finished and paste it in the "Ascent" folder inside the "Ac Web Ultimate Repack" folder.

Ok your server is done now !! For logging in you have to find a folder "Realmlist.wtf" open it with notepad and erase everything inside and then type "Set realmlist 127.0.0.1" (without quotes). You may find the "Realmlist.wtf" folder in your wow directory.You may open your wow and enter your username "Admin" (without quotes) and password "admin" (without quotes again).

How to turn on the server ??LOL !! Very easy..

1:- Open the "Ac Web Ultimate Repack" and over there you may find a file "Control panel" Double click and click on "launch server" Four files should open:- (1) Mysql (2) Apache (3) Logonserver and (4) Ascent. If everything opened fine this means your server is on.
How to let other player's join your server ??

OK !!!

8:- Open the "Ac Web Ultimate Repack" folder again and open the "Ascent" folder.

9:- Then you may find a folder "REALMS.CONF" open it with notepad and scroll in the lower end where you may find :-

<Realm1 Name = "(Your realm name..you can keep anything"
Address = "Your Hamachi Ip:8129" e.g:- "5.92.252.132:8129"
Icon = "Normal"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">

OK !! you are done You may make a hamachi server now and ask your friends to join. Make them change their realmlist to your Hamachi ip.You may now make their accounts and ask them to log in

Alright How to make a website for your server ??

It looks very difficult but thanks to AC Web Ultimate Repack 6.7 it is very easy I dont know how to make it on your Home-ip though. But i can tell about hamachi ip and its still helpful !! Alright !!

1:- Open this folder "C:/AC Web Ultimate Repack." the 4th time.
2:- Go in the folder "Server"
3:- Double click: Apache.bat and MySQL.bat
4:- Open the folder "htdocs"
5:- Open configuration.php
"Now comes the hard work "

5:- Ok !! now search for "$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://localhost;"
6:- You may change this to :- "$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://"your hamachi Ip;" (WITHOUT QUOTES)
7:- save it and open your firefox or internet explorer or watever you have and type "http://"your hamachi ip" (If it doesnt open make sure all your firewalls are not blocking it.)
8:- If it opens try making an account and after doing it chek in your Database, Which you should open with "heidisql" or anyother you have and chek the accounts. The account you made through the website should be there.

Thats all !!! You are done !! Make sure people have joined your Hamachi network before they open that website or they will be unabled.

To change the design of that webpage log on to :- http://your hamachi ip/administraitor. Your username and password will be "admin" (Without quotes"

(1)vendors for player's and Gamemasters, (Not mine).

(2) Weapons For gamemasters.(MINE)

(3) Armour T7 (For players)(MINE)

(5)And Jewellry. (MINE)

well for one thing are you eu or us? and if so if you where eu did you follow the guide so good that you took his enus? and you dont need to alter 1 single thing just put the pack into C/:ac web pack put ad and map engb if eu or enus if us then when its done put it in your ascent folder then launch with controll paneler or manualy mysql apache logonserver ascent and it should work if not your just the victim of a fucked up comp

sqlyog sucks blackman balls just get heidi then login with root pw ascent while your mysql is running then go to accounts and make a 2nd account there

Very good guide. I have read like 4 or 5 different guides, and I still can not get into my public realm, the one with my external ip address on it. I am not using Hamachi, but it is very similar to using a web site like no-ip.org. I have configured my host file in my system 32 to match my internal ip, and external ip, so that it would talk with my web site. I have changed my realms files in AC-web repack folder, as well as my configuration file. I did not open my apache.bat, or mysql.bat files before I changed "$mosConfig_live_site = 'http://localhost;" to my dynamic DNS, what would that do? Out of 2 realms I can log on to just the one. It has my localhost ip in it,(127.0.0.1), and the one I can not log into has my external ip in it. When I log onto my website to register an account, I have to have AC-web open, but it WILL work fine. I just can't get into my public realm...Just sets there and trys to log in. I have checked to make sure no fire walls are blocking any ports, or if my modem is port forwarded correctly. Sorry, I am at work, and I do not have pics or all my specific info to show, but I figured some one is having the same prob. Also sorry I know this guide is for Hamachi, but like I said, by reading several other forums on how to make it public, they are very similar. Maybe some one could help. :confused:

I am running Vista, and when I *run* cmd, and then ipconfig it shows my IPv4...What is that compared to just my IP? :confused:

Edit: Oh my no-ip we sites port is set to 8070...Does it matter?

ok i have my server public via no-ip basically just like a dyndns. and i set the live thing in the htdocs to my no-ip address which is godofwar1.servegame.com and when i try to make a character it says ascent.accounts does not exist...any ideas how to fix this?

every time i try to execute the SQL thing, i get the same error with Start service. this is after you enter the password and stuff. the error which shows is error 0. cannot create Windows service for MySQL. how do i fix this?

ok, ive got the same problem as I posted in my last reply. my MySQL gives an error at the "start service" part of the configuration. error: Cannot create Windows service for MySQL. Error: 0

Try Thorz guide on how to do it with out Hamachi...cause Hamachi sux. Pain in the ass, and people have to download it, and register to your Hamachi & server.:mad:

Do what it says, and login to the second realm. Your local one is for you, and the first one with the external IP is for every one else. Just keep fiddling with it...Ya'll get it. Nice guide here though. +rep :rolleyes:

I make Accounts using Hiedisql as i have posted before.

If your MYsql IS GIVING ERROR chek your logonserver.conf file, username of db should be :- root and password :- ascent.
1) Your deafault gateway is your "Internel Ip".

2) Instead of typing your "Internal ip" in the 2nd realm in your realms folder you can type 127.0.0.1:8129. this made me log in my public server. before that i cudnt log in either.

3) I think it does matter with your port 8070.. cause mine is 8000.

the vendors numbers go from 50000-50080 but some of them skip...

you need to install it in c:\AC Web Ultimate Repack nowhere else or it will not work

apache works, it's your comp that's faulty :O
