Rune's don't work yet, every update for the rev is arcemu wise but as soon as we get WolfEmu and WolfDb Going, we will have major updates and we will keep up with all the patches. :D

Make sure you do not have another one running. Press ctrl+alt+delete, bring up task manager, go to process list, and see if there is mysql running. If there is end it, and that should fix it.

Nice repack wolfy! But It didn't come with a AC Web Ultimate Repack folder I had to make one on my C:\ . You might want to tell people they have to do the same or your thread might get flooded with the same question. You know how people are they just don't read the whole thread.;) But good job!

In This Repack, The Teleporter is HUGE, There's this guy off of AC Web i got the Teleporter LUA From but i edited it and what not to work and deleted the extra's so ya. I'd recommend you wait until the Teleporterofall_Kinds comes out by "The Wolf Pack". :D

Umm... One reason why i used some of the AC Web Ultimate Repack is because That Mysql and Apache work perfectly for me and i know it works for macs and linux's so i wanted to make sure this repack was compatible with the common computers. :P

Looks like you have a corrupt installation. clean up the install files and re-download it.

look the path of the file mysql can't find ( in this case C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Server\mysql\share\english ) and look if the file errmsg exists and make sure you have installed the repack in the C:\ folder. if the file really doesn't exists, try to re-download the repack..

You have to install the repack to a folder named "AC Web Utlimate Repack" spelled exactly like that in the C: drive or else mysql will give you that error everytime.

The error you are getting is due to the fact you are running a db for ascent
not arcemu It will not work with ascent
it will not work with mangos
it will only work with arcemu
unless you totally rewrite the source (Lua) and (Sql entry)
This could be a total pain in the rear
It would be easier i.m.o to code one from scratch
And if you need to look at the lua script you already have to understand what your doing ;)
Besides then you can make the npc look like you want and say what you want

Just one more question about database editing...I made some items and put them all in the DB. When I type in the code to get the item in game, it says that the code is not valid, this had hapened to me before because the item code was too large, but this time it seems tht its not the case(I also tried to delete an item from the DB and replace its my custom item's code by it...) . I tried to change my login name and password, but it just doesnt work, i always have to put admin for both name n password... Bottom line is this: Everything is fine when I edited( i triple checked n its saved) but when i get on its like I never even touched the DB... What could be the problem... someone told me it could be the WDB file so i went n deleted it and every other folders mentionned in the tut but problem still occurs any suggestions? would rly appriciate it ty

Hello, every time I go through the tutorial first MySQL it runs just fine no errors then arcemu-logonserver and runs without any errors but then when I click arcemu-world it gives me this error as shown below. And yes I configured the WTF folder and server file. So since the third program did not work I left the other two programs running and tried starting up wow and I was actually able to login with admin admin but there was no server to pick from. :confused:

1. You need to use everything in the repack, that means the passwords are wrong so your using either a new rev or a new mysql.

2. That means that your optional doesnt work. Don't exactly know that problem. :/

Hello, my apologies I'm running Vista so arcemu-world needed to be ran as administrator! :eek::eek::eek:

I just wanted to say that you did a phenomenal job to actually create a wow server within a few minutes is terrific not to mention the easy setup for noobs even for the most illiterate computer user could create a wow server in one place and as easy with the full line of tutorials GM commands lists quite a big undertaking and you did a phenomenal job!

I downloaded your repack. Followed the directions. Everything seemed to go smoothly. When i fired up the client, just about all NPC's have 1 hp, do not move and i didnt see any quests avail as a undead char. Am i missing something?

Great repack, I'm just having two problems...

When I try to port anywhere in Northrend, it crashes and gives an error that it can't load northrend.wdt. I'm not sure if this is because I'm running 2.4.3 patched to 3.0.3?

Is there anywhere that displays the vendor name and ID so I know which one to spawn?

Make sure, 1. Your patched to 3.0.3, The Flag on your account is 44, and also add enus depending on where u live.

Definitely patched to 3.0.3.9183. When I change flags to 44 or 32, it says I don't have Lich King data installed, if I have it on 8 I can login etc. but it crashes when porting to anywhere in Northrend.

Have you changed any of your config files?? If you have make sure that everything is set correctly. Also this repack is so nub friendly that a 4yr could set this up. (minus possiably having to create the AC web folder so that your paths are correct for mysql)

1. I've been on northrend and it looked like it was completely finished but i guess not. MY MISTAKE.

2. The Repack is designed so you ONLY DOWNLOAD AND USE THIS. You Can't use your own mysql, you have to use the one on the repack. USE EVERYTHING IN THE REPACK.

3. If you cant connect after public then you messed up somewhere.

Hello, I had Werewolf Repack V1. And I added "Latest ArcEmu Compatible Mall" from Melativo`s topic. (http://www.ac-web.org/forum/releases/40603-latest-arcemu-compatible-mall.html)

But then I saw new version of ur repack and downloaded it , now when I try to add mall into my worlddb in sql some error is popping up, like "mountid display" or something , do u have some mall that I can add on ur repack ?

Comrad - The Mall Sql from Melativo is outdated. The Repack uses changed databasing for 1756 and up for revs so you need to either make the mall yourself or wait for my next repack. Im adding a lot more in the next repack. XD

slaygod - The .exe's and mysql.bat should be up for it to run and you also must set your realmlist to 127.0.0.1, If it doesnt work then somethings either wrong with your localhost OR Your .exe's wont run correctly. XD

If you use a different mysql for this repack, all you would have to do is drop the db's in your old other folder. Then login with your old msql info. ....... i think lol, correct e if im wrong. Does work though, ive done this in the past for whatever reason.

you HAVE To use the mysql and the .exe's of the repack for it to work. You can change if you know what your doing but i wouldnt advise it, you would get lost if you didnt know what you were doing. :P

The Passwords are Wrong, You need to edit the Configs to work. First: Take the Attention error i put and follow the how to. That usually means the major password between world and logon isnt correct.

Change This in logon:
<LogonServer RemotePassword = "Change_me_logon"
AllowedIPs = "127.0.0.1/32"
AllowedModIPs = "127.0.0.1/32">

To:

I Never got realmloop with this repack but if you must.

Go into Arcemu_realms.conf and scroll to the first part.

Change the Server count to 2

Then scroll all the way to the bottom, copy and past the server text under that server text.

Then put the <realm1 as <realm2

Then it file, save and your good. :)

To fix your SQL server so it can be installed anywhere, not just in the AC-Web folder..
Open Explorer, and navigate to <your folder>/server/mysql/bin/my.cnf
Open my.cnf with Notepad and change the following lines:

Everyone, I am almost finished with v3. Its fully updated with new credits and new features. Thanks to P Productions, The Repack now has ALOT of vendors at gm island and of course faddix for the compiling ncdb and arcemu, thanks buddy. Ha haha! After a few hours trying to get the repack to work... and finally after a few hours I find the solution! Stupidity... or rather a slight overclouding of incompetence! heh, nevertheless I'm anxious to try out your repack. I thank you for your efforts by the way you made it very simple (despite my somehow misplacing all but the ARCemu folder... SEVERAL times! )

I blame it all on the 2 feet of snow outside my window. but to the point.... Rep bonus for being so willing to help others and for efforts!


Alrighty... after taking a quick peek around in the server it's time to try brea... (uh Hem!) err tweaking it a lil bit so far so good. the last repack i tried had some issues with dual wielding, (note this was a completely different repack using Mangos and a different repack) I'm glad to see it wasn't universal.

Tried the Item editor tutorial and it was pretty helpful, however the end result WAS in the game but not useable? I will check this out tomorrow when I'm not dead on my arse when i should be sleeping.

Akaelik, Dont try to update your arcemu folder or anything in that repack unless you know what your doing. :P

Also, Everytime a new database comes out for ncdb, I like to do a few fixes before i do release so ya. :P

One issue that I am running into though .go enable and .go activate not
working for elevators that I spawn prob my mistake but I am doing it the same way that I have in the past. I can get them to work but once I get off they stop working? any ideas?

To Make the elevator perminentally activated, Do this:

1. Go in game and spawn the elevator, dont spawn anything else until your done with the change.

2. Go into The database Gobject_spawns and Go to the last page and scroll to the bottom.

3. The Last Gameobject spawn would be the elevator you spawned, scroll to "Flag" in that Row and change the number to 42(I think its 42).

4. Hit Save and exit.

5. Restart your server and it will be perminent.

If the flag is wrong, please, somebody remind me. :)

For some reason pets cant be fed. Everything else works fantastic. I just wonder if it might be a insertion that needs to be added to the playerpets db or integer.

Edit: It has something to do with the happiness in the playerpet db. I deleted that part of database and allowed me to keep the pet in the game now or did on the earlier arc revisions so if anyone is having problems keeping pets, goto navicat and open up the playerpets db and delete the happiness column and it will allow you to keep pets but only problem will not let you feed them which I am trying to figure out as of now on what to add to get that to work. It still has a happinessupdate column. Note: This is for earlier revisons of arc before 1888. Not the latest.

wow the more i toy with this the more i like it. You are a godsend with the tutorials wolf. I would love to help out if you don't mind a curious newb. I'm not sure how much help i may be but I'm finally starting to get around in Navicat comfortably enough to create a set of armor and a few weapons. (well they are in process but I should have no further trouble in that department.)

I was curious how one might modify the level cap? Also I'd like to find out how to increase stats past level 80. Is there any direction you can point me to? (not necessarily HOW but where)

Open Apache, check in ctr+alt+del at processes if apache is there, go to your browser, hit http://localhost/ and look (make sure there is either a index.html or a index.php in the htdocs folder (or www, I see. I'm experienced with Apache, but I haven't tried this).

Why did you delete the tutorial? You could make a link to this Repack, the tutorial was fun too!

EDIT: They can't connect, MySQL will open, but logonserver and world cant connect to it (version 2)

Hey R3dw3r3w0lf, is there any chance you can upload your maps and vmaps files somewhere? My computer allways stops at Map_566.bin on 85% and never goes past, and my vmaps files only creates 1 30byte file called 000_29_27.vmdir I've used this before and am a bit more experienced then just a newb, and when i did the 2.4.3 server the maps worked perfectly.

So any chance you can upload?? I know its huge and all :S

oh and can you send a private message with the links to me on the forum? It gets irritating searching through millions of posts to see if you have :P

Ok I extracted and everything is in it proper place and MySQL it up and running but when i try to strat the .exes i get an error message say that the side-by-side configuration is incorrect. What do I need to do? Thanks

If it says that in the black box then you messed up a config of some sort. You have to use what the repack gives you, only update if you know what your doing. If it just pops up as a white box, you have to update your .net framework. :O

Ok thanks I got that fixed, but now I get everything running go start wow to login and when I use user= admin1 pass=admin1 It say that its not a vaild login. Any suggestions?

Akaelik, To Change the level cap, go into the config arcemu_optional.conf inside your configs folder inside the emulator folder(If you didn't change the name, its WereWolfRepackV2!) :)

I see that but Do you apply that to the world.conf? or how do i get it to register?

I've halted my attempt to try and do what i want with that since what i was really hoping to do was find the formulas involved with what determines how much of one stat per level.

My current project(s) are..

+Creating a brand new shield to work in Navicat (displaying properly and no errors)

+Find a way to allow anyone to walk into raid instances. (aka not in a raid group or raid with fewer numbers)

+Expand knowledge of not just tweaking .conf files but actual editing of in game files and eventually creature behavior and stats.

Seriously, awesome work with your repack. the tutorials have been a godsend and while some aren't as "complete" as they could be, you certainly have been a huge help.

If you are interested I can run through the tutorials and write down questions that might help as well as add information I've run across, then send you the results for your opinion. Just to help you help others who know as much as me or less. (and i know little still)

for editing max level and stats/skills/min-max skills/dodge/critical above lvl80
this need to be done in core itself, so the best way to learn is to go on

When I try to log in to WOW it tells me that user= admin1 pass= admin1 is not a valid login, everything is updated and I am using Version 3. Any suggestions?

First of all big thanks to R3dW3r3W0lf for helping a newbie like me start my own server.

I have a little problem though, I am using Hamachi with WoW with WotLK 3.0.3 and the issue I have is that I keep getting stuck on connected. My online and forum searches were fruitless. Any help would be great. Once again thank you.
