i was able to extract maps and vmaps with this without problems, but not tested vmaps in game yet...

let me know if you need any help they should work...they do for me.
after assembling you should have a 1.75 GB vmap folder

lol devils have feelings 2 :P, and my vmaps extractor keeps getting program fail on my vista machine and then dieing, guna try ...1 more time and if it dosent work, I WILL JUMP OF THIS THREAD INTO THE POOL OF ADDS BELOW!!

fails at map 566 as always - if it works for you you dont have wotlk client- 0r you maybe using outdated os because it still dont work with 64 bit vista server pc with 8 gigs of ram

ok well since i or anyone i know cant get it to work -- didnt work when i compiled it from the arc svn -- anyone know where to get wotlk maps for arcemu server ?

Sorry, wouldn't know, Zolar, haven't seen any reason to run a 64-bit Windows OS other than MAME performance (I'll be making XP x64 a secondary OS just as soon as I snag a new copy of System Commander just for that though). Windows Server 2003 (32-bit) has PAE so I can use all of my RAM already. I've seen even less of a reason to even think about running Vista though, if I need a Windows 6 for anything ever, I'd go with Server 2008 R2, it's fast and reliable at least (if still more bloated than 2K3).
Well, it's not working for me, vmap_assembler seems to not like Intel quad core CPUs. That or, well, hmm, just thought of something, Threatfire may have screwed up my .Net 3.5 just enough that this fails to run while the server itself has no problems. I'll try re-installing it with TF disabled and get back to you.

Vmaps is Virual maps more like 3D Virtual map of areas priventing npc walking in to other objects and so on

My bad, on closer inspection I realized that not only was the extractor terminating improperly, it was accessing the wrong WoW folder. Forgot I played some 2.4.3 last night. Ran 3.0.3, re-extracted the buildings, worked correctly this time, vmap_assembler then ran as it should since it now had something to assemble, lol. Not sure how I missed something so simple. Must be my new job, I'm working the night shift and it's messing with my sleep because I'm having trouble sleeping during the day. So, never mind my previous post, this one actually does work.

I ended up with only 831 MB.... and during the extract I had a lot of the following error.
"Error loading model World\Generic\Human\Passive Doodads\Lanterns\Generallantern01.2

Error loading model World\Generic\Human\Passive Doodads\Buckets\Cavekoboldbucket.2
Error loading model World\Azeroth\Westfall\Passivedoodads\Crate\Westfa llcrate.2"
Any suggestions?
Ironic by the way.... the very last map it handled without an error, and it looks like only looked at that final exit code to determine if it was succcessful or not:
"Processing map 31 31 ArgentTournamentDungeon...
Extract V2.4 2007_07_12. Work complete. No errors."
