Is it me, or is the back of naruto somewhat Choppy?

Also, the text should be bigger & there is a strange border on the left + right side.

yeah, the render is choppy.. and the border is supposed to be like that.. if you've taken anything of GFX design then.. well.. anyways.. :)

Or you could do it like I always do:

CTRL-A, then make a black stroke of 2px.
Blending Options, Stroke, and add a 2px white stroke.

Outcome:
