For proof Ultimate WotLK (0 players online) (http://12.201.50.49/) make an account change realmlist to the ip there. And logon and see dks' work only one bug so far death grip doesnt work on non pvp players but it does on your friends.

hi, awesome sounding repack by the way. but the main reason im posting is because im wondering why i keep getting this error when i launch mangosd.

"Incorrect DataDir value in mangosd.config or ALL required *.dbc files <65> not found by path: ./dbc"

help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. and thanks again for the awesome repack.

No not spawned yet It is mangos.

Yes put maps and dbc in mangos folder then you wont have that error. If you have to redo the ad.exe for the vmaps to work then do so.

I just gave this a try and it works great. I'd say it is one of the more stable WOTLK repacks out there. I still have to test for bugs but I made a quick run threw, and I am pretty impressed. Nice job tiger!

Ok all you do is this dont listen to all the other idiots out there ok. Download hiedi sql then enter your sql user and pass login and go to mangos then a list weill appear go to realm and then change the ip to your ip or your hamachi ip.

Sentetsu, it sounds like you don't have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installed on your PC. Try opening the MySQL, Logonserver, and MaNGOS all manualy without the control panel. Some times with vista the control panel messes things up.

Sentetsu you don't need to run the realmd. I just looked in the repack file and it looks like the only way to open the logonserver is with the control panel. So try this open the control panel, then one at a time click the MySQL button first and let it open, then click the Logonserver and let it open, and finally click on the MaNGOSE button. Hopefully that will work.

I don't know if it supports TBC but if it does you will probably have to log in with admin2,admin2 to play. Did you try clicking the logonserver and mangos anyway? It works for me on vista I just tranfered it to my laptop which runs on vista and tried it.

hey just wanna say nice repack just one little problem i got it setup so i could use death knights now i tried to set it up on my mate computer and now i canrt get it right everytime i login it says i dont have wotlk installed i have i was wondering if anyone knows why i carnt logon in using wotlk acc but i can use a tbc acc if anyone could help me plz ?????

Try opening the control panel as an Admin see if Vista then lets you work correctly, if you already did that try uninstalling and then reinstalling and carefully go over things, for some reason it helps sometimes.

Also, I have a question, do you need to have WOTLK installed when you extract the maps or can you do it on any World of Warcraft with patch 3.0.3 installed?

anouther tip! i think vista only need to do this...:

mysql prob:
go to your c:\ then create a file called :'AC Web Ultimate Repack'
then exstract/move the files to this file and then run it....

use the ad.exe file + map file and bring them to ur wow foilder. run it as administer and then wait..... after that move the map file to your 'MaNGOS' file.

Awesome repack triger, I finally got it to work. One problem though, there seems to be a combat bug. Whenever I enter combat, I exit again immediately. Also monsters that are agressive will not attack me and all mobs in some instances (not tried them all) are yellow, including the bosses.

If I'm not mistaken you have to have ".gm on" in Mangos in order to enter an instance. But mobs in instances are neutral if that's on so you have to enter ".gm off" once you're in, so it could be that's on by default? I can verify none of this, last copy of Mangos Amber I tried to run from 2.4.3 gave me the server select loop, and I tried changing my IP address to 127.0.0.1, my internal IP 192.168.1.100, and my dyndns address, eventually just gave up out of frustration, besides, I was under the impression whydb was the best DB anyway, and it's specifically for Arcemu/Ascent. Though this new NCDB leak may prove I was wrong about their progress. I think I'll try the 97% one first, but if Mangos is planning to continue support for 2.4.3 (something that does 1.x.x would be nice as well, actually) I'll look into them again. I would like to see a completely working 2.4.3 and whatever the last 1.x.x version was. I believe the changes between versions makes them completely different games and I'd like to be able to play all of them correctly.
