oh i forgot to edit the account for wotlk+ tbc go into database with Navicat and open database Ascent and open table Accounts and go to the field: flags and change number in there to 32

Hello,

First of all, thank you Nadskap2 for putting this out. I spent about 20 minutes on this and here is what I found so far. I'm sure much of it is my issue but I figured I'd post it in case others are having similar issues.

Things I am finding:

1. Death Knight is somewhat half baked. Area is empty, no quests or way to get out of there. Will need to spawn a teleporter npc.
2. Some horde characters (orc and troll) spawn in the middle of the ocean and can do nothing
3. Cannot get to northrend currnetly
4. Teleporter does not take you to northrend
5. NPC's who are supposed to stand still are walking in place (minor)
6. Boats do not appear to be working from Stormwind
7. Flightpoints are not working for me eitehr
8. Hyjal appaers to no have the alliance and horde camps

How to Go Northrend

I wish I knew. I'm looking at the recall table in the ascent database. I am not seeing any locations that take me to northrend. Dalaran is there but takes me to its old location. I would guess if we had the coordinates we could add it to the recall table.

put in .worldport 571 25 25 25
and you are in northend.
somewhere in the water.

First working recall location I had for Northrend:
REPLACE INTO "recall" ("id", "name", "MapId", "positionX", "positionY", "positionZ") VALUES
('800','Kamagua','571','779.847','-2972.14','11.161');

I also noticed that my Northrend is not spawned. But I'm not done building yet either.

just want to sat that if any have trouble with working dk, then set the flags to: 24 or 36 or 38 or 40, on of them works for shure. ;)

your getting that error becuz you have your folder named wrong. fix the file path.

Hi there!

First of all thanks very much for making such effort showing us how to make our own private server :D!


ok lets make things short,

I have everything working , part from the mangos server, which there is something wrong with BattlemasterList.dbc and Map.dbc , which are in the dbc folder. ( some error message saying that blah blah have 118 fields instead of 120 something like that....stupid errors.)

I deleted them and it says cannot find them.

I tried to run the game and log on to the servers with this error running(everything else runs just as smooth), then it just automatically gets you back to realm selection page( where it shows ManGos as the only pvp server) when "logging into game server" .

So i think the problem is just with those 2 files , BattlemasterList.dbc and Map.dbc in the dbc folder, so may I ask that can you please send me those 2 files via email , would really appreciate that ! :D!

1. Why cant Night elfs be death knights
2. Why do death knight not work 100%
3. Why do not death knight have the correct spells

I have tryed all flags i tryed 24, 36, 38, and 40! Nothing works to get to northrend or Outland it is only 8 that allows you to go to Outland but what allows you to go to Northrend!!!!!

Alright, why even BOTHER releasing this claiming to have most things working all but spells when people are coming up with lists showin what isn't working, which seems to be most of the damn thing.

If you cant make a functional WOTLK repack, dont release it claiming it to be a functional WOTLK repack.

I spent about two days going over this repack. I made it to Northrend and all but it's not nearly what I thought when I read the original post. Northrend is there but I didn't find anything spawned. DK's do not "work" meaning spells, quests, weapones, runeforges, etc all work. Overall I still think this is a good repack and better than anything I've done to date. I appreciate the effort, thanks. I also have had no issues with random crashes I've seen in other builds.
