hi i got a tiny problem i havent run on before.

after changinl the info in both ascent-world.conf and ascent-logonserver.conf

i get an error:

I believe that's the SQL I used.. I inserted like an extra 15 for some Database error fixs and I believe this is the one that fixed the creatures if it's not tell me and i'll look for the correct one.

You didnt Start Up The SQL Database.

Do this: C:\Aspire\Server\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt.exe

Whenever you try to Equip WOTLK Items, it says "You cant Equip That" (Despite Having LV80 and the actual requirement)

Go to your logonserver.conf and change the logondatabase info with the correct one (database name) is the database that lets you make new accounts.

It worked for me, i just dled, the Repack, maps and dbc, executed DB, Executed Logon.exe and World.exe, could login, and create char


Meh when the SQL end executing , by that time i could download twice the repack if it were prefixed.

Now i figured what was wrong with the Spawn table. It had no GUIDs.

i've found these bugs:
1) when u pick up a quest there's a bug with the title ( i played only with human's starting quests, don't know with others )
2) some npcs have a cube in their off-hand xD ( always in nortshire abbey, don't know in other places )
3) some of the human starting quest fail 'cause there's no time remaining o.O, but the other ones are ALL complete XD so ther'e a very serious bug with the quests xD

i hope this can help you to fix this nice repack :) if i find any other bug i'll report in this thread ;)

I had to use SQLyog as well to import the creatures table.

I'm getting the following errors on world startup:

Table 'world.areatrigger_extra' does not exist

Invalid format in vendors (6/5) columns, loading anyway because we have enough data

Invalid format in reputation_instance_onkill (9/7) columns, not enough data to proceed

Table 'world.items_extendedcost' doesn't exist

Table 'world.custom_teleporter' doesn't exist

When I insterted all the SQL's I insterted them into the world database. witch ended up working fine for me.

Only error i get now is the world.teleport one missing.

For the magisters terrace one, go to the scripts folder, and open up
UNIT-MagistersTerrace_SunbladeBloodKnight.lua

find Unit:RegisterEvent("SunbladeBloodKnight....
and change it to

Unit:RegisterEvent(6300, 40, "SunbladeBloodKnight_HolyLight")

ie, just reverse the entries.

Still can't connect to the server for some reason, but hey, it's running.

Well I've got the server up, running and able to connect.

I applied all the new sql's that would take (several gave errors, duplicate/already exists, etc).

It starts up now with errors about AuraState Spell xxxxx, has unknow target, unkown caster state, etc. So these were added as part of th sql package, as they weren't there before.

Biggest problem I see now is that the quest system is messed up in a bad way. quests can't be completed because they immediately show as failed. Or, they show as completed even though you don't have the required item.
The quest text itself is showing in the main window, rather than when you click on it to read more, etc.

Instances aren't scripted and have clipping/LOS errors (ie mobs see you through walls). Mags actually followed me to the instance entrance, when the gate is suppose to close and not let anyone in/out of his lair. You can't talk to the stagehand to start the opera event in kara and the door is already open, etc.

A mob will show as lootable, but contains no loot.

I think most of these are problems with the core itself that need to be addressed.

He posted a repack and then ASKED people to tell him what was wrong with it. That's what beta testers do. He can't fix it if he doesn't know there's something wrong.. duh.

If you think you can do better, go compile YOUR own, and release it for all to critique.

Make sure you renamed it to AC Web Ultimate Repack

Yes without renaming the repack you would not get MySQL working.

Need the DBC's / Maps folder. Extract them toyour AspireCore folder and that problem will be taking care of.

This is because you have / had a database with diffrent name with the same MySQL.
