You Need To Execute This Batch File To The forum Database..

Before You Put The Website Live, Please Go Into The Index Of htdocs And Edit The config.php With Notepad Accordingly

What I Have Done:
I Have Recoded It, Edited It. Added The Donation System, Added An Armory.
Updated It.
And Alot More

The Default Info Is

User: Admin
Pass: admin

Guides:

Automated Donation System
This Is A Guide On How To Set Up The Automated Donation System,
That I Put Into The Pack. It Is All Linked Up

Before You Do Anything. Go Into The Directory of ADS Then Go Into resources
And Open conifg.php With Notepad And Edit It Accordingly

GUIDE:

1. Go To The MySQL Database, Open The Connection And Click New Database
Name It "aapdrds" {Without The ""}

2. Right Click The New Database And Click Execute Batch File
Click The ... And Choose The ADS.sql That Is Located In This File

Done. And If You Want To Add Custom Items, Go Into The New Database You Made
And Click servers

Lets Make The Realm:

ID: 1 {Meaning First Realm}
Name: Example Realm {Name Of Your Realm}
host: localhost {The Host Your Server Is On} Default Is localhost OR 127.0.0.1
Username: root {Default Username For Database Admin Is root, Edit Accordingly}
Password: ascent {Default Password For Database Admin Is ascent, Edit Accordingly}
database: aapdrds {The Database Name Of The ADS}

Thats The Realm Selection If You have 2 Do The Same Thing {Edit Accordingly}

Now To Add An Item So They Can Choose
Open Up The Table Called rewards

ID: 1 {ID Of The Item {Shown ID In The ADS Form} Doesn't Matter Of The Number}
Server: 1 {Server ID, The One We Entered When Making The First Realm}
Name: Custom Item {Name Of The Item Available To Be Brought
item1: 32687 {ID Of The First Item}
item2 - item8: These Are Used For Sets, Like Ancient Set Of Monkeys, It Sends Them All 8Items
Gold: 25000000000 {Example: 2500gold For $5}
Price: The Amount Of The Item { Example: 15 } It Would Mean On The Form When They Select It, It Would Be $15

Done

All Logs Are Held In The logs Table In The Database.

Fodah For The Grahpics

Step 1. Log Into The MySQL Database

Step 2. Right Click And Choose New Database
Name It: sparmory

Right Click The New Database
And Choose Execute Batch File
sparmory_db

Done.

Now Execute Batch File On World For armory_results
And Also Do The Same On Logon.

To Change The Settings Such As
The Database User And Pass
Go Into The Armory Directory And Open settings.inc With Notepad
And Edit It Accordingly

I got 1 problem. When i gonna login it works then when i gonna config the site it must wait very long and when it's done it crashes the apache :S when i put it on and gonna login it takes 2-3 min then crash :S so whats the problem ??

i think i may have messed uomething up when i was setting it up.

It shows the recent characters at the bottom of the homepage, but it shows the server as offline even when it is online.

you can grab the armory urself. download it take the armory file outta the htdocs and then us the sqls. easy

I got everything configured,everything works,even the online maps,but,there's one problem.The server status(front page).Why doesn't it update?I mean,it should update every minute,the server has been up since 2 hours but the status pages shows only 6 minutes.I copied the "stats.xml" file from my arcemu folder and it still doesn't update.Can i get a bit of help?Thank you.

This site is just the old cms mashed together with everones elese releases and I looked over the files and no coding just some easy edits ... Just another way to farm rep... Not many people know this but me poison and a web scripter from blizz(retired) are working on a badass site and is 100% blizzlike including blizzlike forum ( by the way even if he could have done something 10% doesn't deserve rep ) LOL legend

Armory is not completed. The options in search are hard to choose from, and items link goes to nowhere because there isnt a http://localhost/Armory/item-search.html because it dont exsist. I could make one that redirects them back to armory page.

I will post more as I set this up if I find anything else wrong.

Still trying also to figure out if it will read only acremu stats.xml files, think it can do others.

LOL Thanks for letting them know I need help also. I am thinking about now piceing one together. But This is strange after i look at it is like this CMS is not talking to the DB but like joomla you have to setup a Database but is that not the same with this I am not sure how this is supposed to work with out a DB normal CMS make you create one. I am at work now but been looking at the config.

So I see what he is talking about. what it is doing is once it you login with the user name and password on the main site it goes to a web site but then doesn't redirect back to the main page and show you loged in. So it doesn't work. I am going to resetup the whole site in a new place and see if I get the same results again.

Armory doesn't work. I do a search for a test account and I get a blank page. Yes I did execute the 2 .sql files but it doesn't display anything

also your mysql and apache must be running to work the site
to edit anymore just click a tab on your page look for the /PHP/or index.html then edit that file in htdocs

I am having problems with the armory porton, when I did what it said, excute batch files, I don't have a dir in my db called world, ascent is the name of the world I have, but when I goto the armory part of the site, I get the page to show up, but no drop down menus, etc. Any ideas?

I have come to a conclusion that this mega pack is hosed. Half the stuff don't even work. Did everything that the docs say, and still don't work. Some of the links dont even work, the armory page is totality outta sync.

Someone needs to reprogram the script // php to actually get this to work.

Spent 3 days trying to fix the messup's and no go.

We need a new manual / guide that'll help us fix some of the problems found in this realese.

Mate the reason for this is that your forums are wrong what you do is this.
1) go into the DB(Navicat,HeidSQL whatever)
2)if you have a db called forum delete it and create a new db called forum.
2a) or if you dont have a db called forum create one.
3)Download the Fix on the first page it should be a MySQL files which is called CMS all you need to do it execute that file into your forum DB and your done!!

That is incorrect
I at one time had it running in wamp before I built the server it is on now
As for others slamming LK
you guys need to not be so afraid to go into the files and work with them
Its really not that hard

problem one Terms of use
To to the index.htm and Edit it to show your server name

problem two no update on server stats
Simple fix.......go to your wow server config dir and edit world.conf
stats dump ( drive letter\apachi\htdocs\stats.php

problem three no DB selected
Make sure you have all sqls setup in your DB
and make sure you have the Config.php edited to show proper dbs
pretty self explanatory once you go in there

problem four armory issues
Havent figured it out yet

Problem 5 Blank page
1 launch apachi
2 make sure All files are there
3 make sure you are pointing to the right place with url
4 doublecheck your config one off thing will throw it off a bit

problem 6 accessing the Admin panel
1 permissions need to be 4 to get ALL
2 make sure you have everything in directory

I have been using this site for almost 6 months now
I have not come up with much issues at all
imo its one of the most complete site repacks out there
LK Kazi and everyone who worked on this repack you guys rock
The site is a very Low maintanance site
and not hard to tweek it the way you want it to look
Look at the site Dont Be Afraid to work with the files in there
Whats the worse that could happen you have to reinstall the files on the site
no biggy
I had the site fully running in roughly 15 mins
And I am not the brightest bulb on the tree

And those who say this repack stinks
That is a matter of opinion since it has about 98% of content actually working with out really moding the server db

Oh I almost forgot
the biggest thing here
This site functions best if you set it up on an new WoW server
No Accounts for game server logons
this could be part of some of you guys problem out there

i have not looked at this yet, but in the config files somewhere, you need to add the location/name/pass for the MYSQL Database.

Funny bug with this repack for forums, log in your account that you create, then click on anyones name on any of their posts (including admins) and once in their profile, click back on ur browser, and you're now logged in as that person LOL. Have fun with admin controls!

P.S. you can change the admin's password, then use his name/pass to log in the game and play around with GM controls.

However when you try to login not register register works, when you try to log in you get this message: http://localhost/forum/authenticate.php?? meanwhile i have to change that localhost but i cant find it anywhere in the configs, the home page and forum are all set to my domain sum reason that login is still set to localhost and i need to change that. Some one please help. Also even if it did work cuz i tried it on localhost. For some reason when i login it says i logged in successfully but then it brings me back to index and im not logged in.

Hey i have the website working pretty nicely theres just a couple of things:

I dont know how to change the text on the top left of the home page "WoW Private Server"

I cannot figure out how to get the Top 5 PvP players to be displayed

and one more thing is that the only online map that works is the Advanced Flash Onlinemap the other 3 dont display any online players for some reason.

I would appreciate help with these problems sooo much :)

Waste of time really. Building your own CMS whould be faster than redoing this. Took alook at some of hes files and they are insainly outdated and code is poorly written some places. Looks like this dude downloaded everything in website release section (in 2008) and zipped it making it one big mess.

Trying to recode this website whould be same as sstarting from scratch.

^^ yea i guess you can say that but im not gonna lie many want me to start from scratch, BUT the thing is i don't like starting from scratch, while it is easier i only due it when someone pays me to make them something custom or i want to do something for myself, i don't make stuff from scratch that's gonna be public anymore due to leeching and the fact its annoying, and yes while this is a lot more difficult i can go threw and clean up the code faster then i can start it out.

This website only works for Arcemu, and this version is bugged but still a nice site. Also it was only meant to work with patch 2.4.3. If you want to use it for a 2.4.3 server search these forums because there is a sql fix for this site some place.
