Steps:
1. Make a new .txt file, ( I'd hope you know how to do that atleast, but just in case.. go to desktop and right click and do new > text document.
2. Copy this and paste in the text document for the Arcemu LOGON server:
@ECHO OFF
CLS
ECHO WoW Server Started %time:~0,5% %date:~1%
:SERVERLOOP
arcemu-logonserver.exe
ECHO Ascent Restarted %time:~0,5% %date:~1%
ECHO.
GOTO SERVERLOOP
:END
3. Save the text document as " Save as... " Now, if you have XP you may only have to type .bat at the end of the file name. If you have Vista, then you'll have to choose "Save as type: All Files" and then at the end of the name type .bat
4. Your BAT file should now be on the desktop, I suggest you name this BAT file " Arcemu Logon restarter " you don't have to, but it'd make things easier for yourself. Now put this BAT file into the SAME directory your arcemu_logon.exe file is.
5. Now for the arcemu WORLD restarter. Follow the same steps again except name it Arcemu world restarter, put it in the same folder for your world.exe file and copy and paste this into the new text document instead:
@ECHO OFF
CLS
ECHO ArcEmu WoW Server Started %time:~0,5% %date:~1%
:SERVERLOOP
arcemu-world.exe
ECHO ArcEmu Restarted %time:~0,5% %date:~1%
ECHO.
GOTO SERVERLOOP
:END
6. Double click both of the BAT files and it should work.
Troubleshooting, I.E it doesn't work:
If it doesn't work, you may not have put it in the right place for starters, didn't copy it all correctly or it could be the problem described below.
--------------------------
In some cases your world and logon application isn't arcemu-world.exe and arcemu-logon.exe so let's configure the program to work with yours!
Right click the BAT file which doesn't work and hit edit, in the BAT file look for either arcemu-world.exe or arcemu-logon.exe depending which doesn't work, and change it to the exact same name as you're .exe files are.
Example:
ArcEmuWorldRestarter.bat
In my folder the name for my world server isn't arcemu-world.exe it's world_server.exe, so I rename the line saying:
arcemu-world.exe
to:
world_server.exe
I hope this helps! If you can't figure out how to do this or whatever, just download it below. But if it doesn't work you'll have to configure it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Download from either links it doesn't matter, make sure you have WinRAR. If you don't, google it. Then just unzip it anywhere and copy the Arcemu World and Logon restarter bat files to the same location as your world and logon applications.
