Amazing repack, well populated. The only type of bug I've encountered so far is that the npc teleporters don't seem to be working, at least in the funserver pack.... and I've noticed the portal to Ironforge in Stormwind doesn't function.

Definitely mad props on the work done here.

HI, i tryed and tested all portals, i have no probs going true the portals, they work fine, i`ll dobbelcheck the system today ;) Warp NPC will be working i repavk 2 coming later, there all the rest will go too. My job with this repack is to build the most added server for fun you can get, with all the stuff everybody lokking for in 6 servers to find, my server will have it all, im almost done with the most of it, just some weeks more to finish this perfect little server. The battle arenas in my next repack will also contain custom arenas, and battle grounds where people meets to be challenges together in fantastics battlezones, all arenas and battle zones will be spawned in portals to every place you need, also added to the Warp teleporter.

I can see that i have spawned ironforge wrong by a mistake, all of you who have downloaded the repack can just spawn the real portal by writing: .go select - .go delete 1 - go spawn 176497 1.
Nude patch, yes, Arrhg, i just removed it, tryed it long time ago and forgot to removed it, i NEED to try it when it came out :D Warpers is to come :D

I believe they are sharing the accounts section of the database, you could just make a new account to use on the other realm.

portal to ironforge not work..why??

Hey all. Portal to ironforge will be fixed and i will set db update out for you all, its i minor prob that most can fix if they now little of db but im fixing it and give you db update. I dont know why it is so, mayby some gameobjects have overwrited this specific portal. It worked when i started this project.

NOTE! to all having prob with logon apache, mysql etc, please folow the readme file, do NOT remove it from C:\ disk ONLY unpack on C:\ othervice you get errors...

OK, portal to gm island, you need to go to db, edit teleport_coords use line 2 = 33 edit protal to ex. MALL and insert new gps y,x,z and map id and then spawn it in gameobjects by typing new line and add specifications.

it have to look like this, change in teleport_coords:
(33,'Teleport: MALL',0,16203.145508,16213.538086,1.130652,0),

it have to look like this, make new line in gameobject_names:
(98000,22,1327,'Teleport to Mall',33,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 ,0,0);

Now restart your server and spawn .go spawn 98000 1
your port is now open to gm island BUT remember that GM Trainer train all, so be carefull, this CAN be abused, so my advice is to enter gm trainer in db or .npv delete 1 from gm island.

It was working great. I have a freshly compiled ascent reborn core, and I ran the update to the database. After the update the portals are gone.

hi, ok, just delete fun db and create new db called fun, the use navicat (that is the most stable to run this) now upfate fun db and you will not have any kind of errors ;)

seanpb, please make sure that NO OTHER progs is using this port to apache, teamview etc. is using that specific port, so DONT let anything else run, first start Mysql and THEN apache, and this HAVE to start, it is full working, have you installed the latest 35 ner framework? thats the first reason for not working correctly ;)

You just have to go in joomla admin and enter theme change and make links to:
/guildstats/
/create/
/forum/

I got it to, got two realm online, with two separate char's. So it's not the same chars on both Fun and Blizz

We are making our new repack already and there will everything works.
The reason why a lot of gear dosent work is that it is not 100% compatible or dos not meet the same quires in db, we are working on it.

froskii .. if u can..get into a raid group if not..did u try the clicking of your portrait and clicking reset all instances? if that didn't work i think turning off ur .bats and turning them back on will make it work.


i have an issue..
1. i start up the .bat things
2.i log in
3.i see the realmlist with the two servers.
4.i try to get on one
5.it says connection then puts me back to the realmlist

It is possible that your server have the weekly resets, like retail.

No, to extract a .rar file u will need WinRAR you can dl a free trial version and it will allways work for extracting after trial is over. You do need network3.5 to use this repack though.

To reset your instance, open your DB editor. Either Navicat or HeidiSQL. Open your logon database, or where your accounts and characters are located. Select the instance template, and open it up. Delete all strings located in there, and said instance will have been reset. This is where it save all instances, for future reference.

i cant get on the fun server at all. when i try it says "logging into server" very briefly then takes me back to the server selection screen. i used to have the same problem with the blizz but i made another realm in the realm.config file and i was able to get on that realm.

but when i tryed to create another realm on the fun server i got this "logging into server" and it took me back to the realm selection screen yet agian. how do i fix this??? its very annoying.

try looking in the logon files of the database, you will find a lot of interesting things, like how to create accounts without account creation pages, how to give people gm powers and whatnot...

Also i noticed - that the hunter pets acctually work.. im very surprised

BUT .. the one down fall the NPC doesnt give the "feed pet ability"

so you have to get a GM enabled account to target you and type

.. how would i add this command to the database so that the quest NPC automatically casts the above command at the same time he casts the other abilitys that result from completing the hunter level 10 pet quest. as he does give tame/ dismiss and call pet at the same time. ( just need to add this last one )

Nice work but i'd rather go with another repack simpley for this reason, if i'm going to host a server (or two in that case) and have a decent amount of people, I would like to see the NPCs talk spelled right. It's just easier to download something else. But good job.:D (not flamming)

ive been playing on the server for about 2 weeks now.. he did a good job..

but theres alot of little things wrong with the server..

for instance .. level 60 "worgs" walking around mixed in with the level 15's in silverpine

Instances respawn completely (all of them) in 5 - 10 min ... including bosses
(ive tried Ragefire, Shadowfang, Black fathom and Wailing caverns... so id assume they are all like that)

they also hit for INSANE amounts... for instance.. Ragefire.. a level 10 - 15 instance... they are hitting for 100 - 200 a hit with decent greens / blues on

Mobs agro from Floors above...

all The level 10 - 20 quests dont work Correctly... shows the quest completed as soon as you get it... and when you complete it .. it doesnt result in the spell.. and you cant redo it...

Shaman Totems dont show up inside shadowfang keep (im guessing they are being put above or below the floor im on..) .. but the effects still hit

now.. im a new server admin.. so if these are settings i can change let me know.. by all means i do not mean to flame.. just listing things if he intends to improve the repack.

I played on your server, liked it, although the biggest improvements i can see that you need are:

Make your ally mall in the stormwind hold, its a great place to put it and make all your vendors look the same, it looks more organised.

But, when i played it on my computer, everything started up but i couldnt get in my realm it just kept going back to realm selection. any ideas? im 2.4.3 btw

Man i love. ( in the friend way for all of the raging homos) I found this repack for a friend he wanted a server that is like yours with custom and cool. so I was about to compile my own and add new things myself. Am I trying to start the ascent-realmserver and/or ascent-logonserver it says that it cannot be started because the config files are wrongly written and I have to reinstall the thing to fix it, doesn't work though... How shall I do?

EDIT: Fixed it now by downloading NET. Framework 3.5...
Though I got a new problem, when I am starting ascent-realmserver it says:

00:00 E MySQLDatabase: Connection failed due to: `Acces denied for user ´moocow´@´localhost´ (using password: YES)´
00:00 E Database: One or more errors occured while connecting to the databases.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
