Spam and General Chat

I would like to bring up an issue I have been seeing a lot of lately. It is spam. Some may not realize they are doing it, others may see it and be doing it for a post count. This site is not about posts counts, it is about helping. I will not act like I do not do it, because I am sure I have posted a few useless messages in my day. But, just because this is General Chat does not mean you can just make a topic and then everyone post little 5 or 6 word responses, that have little to nothing to do with the topic at hand. Everyone knows what spam is, and if you don't you will learn fast. If I open a thread in this section and I see pointless messages that I feel are there for just a post count, I will delete them. Then, you will know what spam is. So, please, do not make me do that. When you make a post, make it worth while. I am not asking you to post a page each time, but don't just post 5 or 6 words and be done.

It's ok elo, people can have a friendly chat if they want, i would say spam is more like an advertisement or just random letters like "fdohgksnfs" or maybe a one word response. Other than that it's ok.

Best you tube thread is fine, but a thread about how something tastes is stupid. And it is not even on real stuff. Just stupid made up words. I dont want to see it again.

Hey Elo, where does your name come from? I mean, that's my surname. Seriously, it is.

My name came from when I transfered off a WoW server and my screen name could not be used on the new server. I had been reading up on what they use to figure up arena points in WoW,and it is called Elo. So I used that.
