Final Fantasy 11 Private server? Able?

I have my dual processor setup running my "Boondock Saints" Wow server as I like to call it. I have the locals who connect in town and we play at my house and what not. We have also played Final Fantasy 11 in the past and I was wondering if there is a way to create your own server for that as well?

I know it would most likely be hard due to the Playonline interface you must go through to get to FFXI, but I am really hoping that someone has figured this out or is currently working on this.

If anyone has any websites, downloads, or information on this subject please post a reply.

I am sure anything is possible, I just wish I was into the FF series. Last one I played was FFVII on PS1 lol

IMO FFVII was one of the best!
But no one get mad at me for my opinions :D

Anyways, I checked out the site and there is a ProjectXI in development, slowly but steady.
Probably will not be working for MONTHS!!

I just remember the 2 games coming out about the same time so I figured if we are bright enough to create emulators for WoW, they should have done the say for FFxi, I guess I was wrong though....

But maybe it is harder to do then with WoW.

The problem with a free FFXI server is that you have to log into Playonline 1st and then the game itself. As of right now there is no way to bypass logging into Playonline. If anyone has done it though im sure there having alot of fun in court. The only way to play a private FFXI server atm is to have an active Playonline account which means of course your paying for it. Which kinda defeats the purpose of a free server. Projectxi is the only community that im aware of thats still working on this. As of right now you can make you own server, but there are no npc's, mob, missions or quests. The Projectxi community is always looking for more helpers. If interested check out the website at http://projectxi.sourceforge.net.

FF will probably have a private server up but your going to have to look through ragezone, google, yahoo, diggs, any type of forum/blog/search engine would be best place to search...hope it helps =D

nah there are no ff11 private servers at he moment it has to much login checks and ton of panel stuff before you even start the game witch i bet would make it seriously hard
