Hey peeps (new favorite word),

I got CS3 Ex. and I love it. Just wish I had more brushes. Those really help. I wanted to make this thread for a few reasons.

1. A place for people to post links to cool GFX websites with tuts, brushes, stock photos, etc.

2. For people to post images for all of us to see and critique. I find asking people on the net gives better results that asking a friend.

3. For people to ask common questions and for people to give easy, to the point answers that do not make a person feel bad. Even if the question is a noob one and everyone should know the answer to.

So, here is my first question.

I am looking for a good free site that I can get a range of stock photos to use. Also, a good brush pack for Grungy backgrounds and such. Thanks!

Ouch, IT would have a shit fit if I left a 8GB download go. But, they got some fast ass internet there. Took me about 20 min to download 400MB.

I am thinking about starting a little site for something like PlanetRenders.com. I would need to get a domain name and all that. Wonder if I could find a free host that would host me lol

Yeah thats like 1500$ though

You can get a domain name form go daddy with .info for 2$ a year and 3-5$ a month for 400gb BW and 50gb of space

Wonder though, would it be successful? Dont want to put money out it just blow up in my face. Do forums usually rely on ads to bring in money for servers and all that?
