Looks good, but it'll still play like it's two predecessors...

i.e. - Paying 50-60USD for the client, another 15USD per month to level (and if it's like BC that's at least 3 months of lvling/gearing up (assuming you don't have a job and play like 8 hours a day, 5-6 days a week)
So...60+15+15+15+countless hours exploring, grinding, and being the same slave to 'high level' monotony that we've all been before =

105USd or more pissed away, and hours, nay, weeks or months of time you could have spent learning new things, going outside, reading to gain knowledge of the world around you, bettering yourself as a person....


Warcraft will never be worth the time and money, not for me, ever again.
sorry to sound like such a buzzkill, but MMO's that I actually pay for have just lost their flair, for me. ::shrug::

the artwork and level design looks pretty cool, and really, in my opinion, they shoulda just fucking waited and realeased this AND BC at the same time as one huge thing....that way...you cant look at BC as the 'windowsME' of the warcrat trilogy lol

What they are doing is releasing a new expansion every year for I think like 2-4 years after the original WoW came out. I think it's to keep people into the game and to make more money (that's all Blizzard has been after since making WoW >.>)

true, and now that you mentioned that, I do recall that plan being mentioned even before they released TBC.

I dunno, I'm starting to just hunger for something more than WoW's offering I guess. Know what I mean? It's the same handful of 5-6 gameplay elements that get really repetitive, and fast. But hey, it's a game, we see that in all titles and genres...

Anyways, I watched the trailer a couple more times....looks like the death knight is wearing...a recolored tier/class set. BOOO ART DEPARTMENT! But on the bright side, it's the color I wish the demonstalker/hunter arena set was colored in the first place. :-P

Don't even get me started on how lazy their art dept is...armor wise.
Yeah, recoloring tier sets is one thing, esp if it's an 'old world' set that not a huge amount of new players are able to see...

But then they go and recolor shit that you see too often...and it just gets my blood boiling. Where the hell does the talent die in the process? I mean, Blizzard is ALWAYS showing us some sweet and kickass concept art from their development team...

It takes more time and effort to do some of those illustrations and digital paintings than it does to model a low-poly shoulder slot (or any other slot) and slap some colors on them...but more often than no they're just skipping the modeling, and slapping colors down.

So...fucking...lame.

Azeroth was originally not made for flying mounts. Above a certain height, there is nothing there. No point.

I flew above Org at 255 speed for 5 minutes, then did .land...

I hope Blizz dose the same stupid shit that they did before and just keep on moving the release date up so more people will leave WoW.

That would really be a glorious day for me, and maybe the humanity !

PS: Im not a wow hater, i just dont like Blizz and people spending their life on pointless MMORPG's [1 - 2 hours tops should be played daily, past this point = a lifeless opsession] that they have to pay for, but i got to say, the Expack looks pretty O.K., i guess. Will be fun on Private Servers. "Illidan VS Arthas: Rematch".
