HEllFury Repack v1 Release!

This repack is the first of many to come to Ac-Web, and also other forums it will be released on!

This repack will be best used as a highrate server, with the level cap at level 90 (already set inside the repack)

This repack has the following:

Teleporter

Portable Morpher

Buff Npc (at hyjal base 2, type .recall port base2, and at gmisland.)

DJ npc (at GMisland)

Custom race, which is a goblin race. I put it for alliance first, since i know most servers have the problem with to many horde. So it would encourage others to go to the alliance faction.

Custom start place, for the custom goblin race. Has quest, and level 1- 7 npcs spawned for them to level on.

Hyjal Spawned to level to 90.

Custom quest, for hyjal, and custom starting place and more.

VIP city. This is spawned at GMisland, and an item is made for the places who donate can get to teleport the the VIP city with a Donor mall, and a regular mall. (Still being spawned, and it will come fully spawned in the next release, wich will be V2.

Custom Npcs to level on.

Custom bases to start in hyjal, one is for horde, and another is for alliance. Then you have one for both factions, where many quest can be found for level 80+. We plan on making another base at the end of hyjal, which will be a goblin encament, and where we will have a final quest for T7.

T7 is in, but we did not make a quest, for that we want to have everything ready for the quest. But I dont think we will have any server with players ready to get the quest, by the time V2 comes out.

Custom leveling areas, which is Hyjal.

Sunwell is enabled but not spawned yet. It will be spawned int he next version of the repack. Unless something goes wrong.

We also have a lot of items in the server, and we are planning to have all NPCs in hyjal to have proper loot.

The leveling problem is now fixed! Replace 2 of your conf files with these! And redo the conf with your edits.

I have just noticed a bug with the repack I am trying my best to fix as fast as I can. I will be uploading updated cores if it is required, there might be a bug when I compiled it. So I will be recompiling and all.

I noticed on your to do list you put getting alterac valley to work try entering this code in the database:

Lol this repack is made for a builtin Mysql server. 1 sec I will upload the mysql installation and u can install a database, and make one for u to connect to.

To get mysql installed use this :

When i load up the ascent-logonserver.exe it loads good, but when i run the world.exe it is saying connection timed out, and on the logonserver.exe it says 127.0.0.1 DENIED, Not an allowed IP.

Yes I know we will be getting rid of the VIP mall. Instead we may use the GM box.



And no mall is implemented, I am still thinking we should have one put it or not. Player I know from my server love doing it them selfs. So they can have more experience, and every one will be a little different.




About a horde custom race, this may happen. We still are thinking about it. We put it on alliance so it can help balance the population on each faction. Since most server, there are more horde, than alliance. Usually its a 4:1 ratio from horde, to alliance.

Well if you having this problem ur not using my character Database then.... it works perfectly fine. U must be using another DB, for your characters that is outdated. Or you just did something wrong in the configs.

Also I thought u are making ur own repack O.o

It's normal that my HeidiSQL server, when executing the repack, always stop (or block, crash...) at 5MB?
It reaches 5 MB and then stop...

Oh wait, it isn't just the 5MB, but it reaches exactly 5 secs and then crash!
....
I'm not saying is the repack, but any help is appreciated :)

Ok ur HeidiSql is probly corrupted or sumtin so I upload my navicat, and went and found a patche that works with it. so here download this:

once u do that, click the patche Icon.

It will usually say its a virus, but it isn't. Just depends what u have. Sometimes AVG will call it a virus sometimes it won't.

If you don't feel comfortable with downloading it, then try reinstalling ur HeidiSQl

What race is the goblin race? And what is the female design because when you change a race id you give up that race bassicly and the female Id is +1 of the id you should add a script that can change your race to the custom race or back to original

They cant be out of date because they haven't been compiled... you have to compile it your self. And if u compile with the right rev. of you server its not out of date.

So read a little about compiling :P

First start up MySQL, and it should say 'localhost' not 'Host'

So edit your ascentlogonserver.conf and make sure wherever you see Host, replace it with localhost.

I don't know if you have used Azshara Crater, but if not, I have been looking at utilizing the bases there to create a "mall" of sorts. Mages and Warlocks in a tower (trainers and vendors), Priests and Paladins in another, Warriors, Rogues,etc in main building. And in the round building, make it a club with dancing npc's, bar with innkeeper, and band.

Again, this is an idea my friends and I have been throwing around to take advantage of this area with an alliance and horde bases. Most "malls" I see are a bunch of vendors and trainers in a room... I say, spread them out and make it more like a real city in WOW.!!!
