Hey guys, been quite a while since I was last here. PC is still knackered sadly so haven't been able to do a terrible lot lately, which really sucks, had a computer as far back as I can remember, even had to go and borrow a laptop, was getting withdrawl symptoms :D
I've had to flipping redecorate and everything, while the PC was off the missus moved it and noticed it was damaging the wall with the heat it was pumping out the back, so that landed me in it hehe. Always knew this thing ran hot but damn, didn't realise it was that hot. At least I know its well ventilated hehe.
I'm well fed up, seen there are a few DX10 games been released, sole reason I upgraded, and now my rig is down. Typical. Anyone tried any of the DX10 games? Is DX10 as good as they have been banging on about since lats year? If I don't have this fixed by the time Crysis comes out I will be gutted, its the one game I have been waiting on.
I got invited to test out a new upcoming game and have to play it at crappy detail levels cause this laptop just aint up to the challenge. Signed an NDA so can't really go into details, but looks interesting enough, if a bit of a mess atm. Needs a lot of work and not nearly as cool as I thought it would be being among the first to test it, spend too much time filing reports and not enough time playing :(
Hopefully be back up again soon, although its unlikely I'll have a server up again, wife agro just isn't worth the hastle.
